This is what rock & roll was meant to be. Nervous, fidgety, angry, focused, complete chaos. Killing everything in town. It's all square, even when it's round.
I just got home from getting my car towed while getting medications at the chemist. I didn't think it would be possible to smile right now but discovering this full set has done the trick. Melbourne music scene was peaking in the late 2000's. Thank you for documenting and sharing this
A lot of familiar faces in the front who all play in great bands, Marty and Rick from Twerps. Gus from Tyrannamen, Boomgates and The Stroppies ... the list goes on. I can't tell you the intense happiness that this video brings me! My favourite band in the whole world. So many good memories of seeing them live and this brings it back as if it was yesterday. Thank you so so much for sharing this!
I spent my 20s going to sweaty warehouse shows like this, where things would devolve into chaos and threatened to unravel, but never quite did. Watching this video brings me back to that time. Eddy Current Suppression Ring is one of my favourite bands from that era but I never got to see them live. This video is fantastic. Thank you for posting it.
Fuck thats Melbourne 1988/2021 compressed into a show. The Hardons, The Meanies, Thrust, Venom P stinger, Spider bait. Ive forgotten more but the 90s were bang in the middle of good times. Love The Eddy.
Drove a 4+ hours when Relax hadn't been released here or was still being recorded...honest ycant recall. They only did a handful of shows and I wasn't missing them. $8 for the best band going on that night...I laugh at people paying hundreds of dollars for washed up reunion bands. Right up front in a great club (Gooski's). Several cameras recording the show. Does anyone know if that's online or how to get a hold of it?

Wow, edgy dude, edgy
I don’t see how that was supposed to be edgy?
@@elcaminocarcrsh I don’t know how you didn’t detect my sarcasm
@@cronulla70 kinda tough to look at a few words and detect anything but what they say.
The last ten minutes is about the most rock n roll thing I've ever seen.

I saw the upload date and couldn't believe I missed this, only to read your description. Thanks for capturing this for the books!

This band knows how to groove strong and work a crowd. Was lucky enough to see them at the legendary Death by Audio before it closed.
I think I've already watched this 10 times. We need this kind of shit in the world we live in today.
Probably 30 or 40 for me. Whatever I need a jumpstart.
