From what I've heard, there's a lot of mystery about what actually happened to Jenny and whether the story of her leaving the ship with her kittens was actually true. Some also say that she removed her kittens, but she herself went back on the ship. It's probably something we will also never know for sure.

Interestingly, the Marconi system originally specified in the original 1909 plan was a 1.5 kw unit. By the time Olympic and Titanic systems were installed, they were upgraded to the newest 5.0 kw system. The 1.5 kw system became the emergency unit. The emergency unit had a range of 40 miles (guaranteed day) longer at night.

I owned one for years; went to multiple dog shows; belonged to a Pekingese Kennel Club & was good friends with the president of it so I'm pretty confident I'm correct.
