Please do video of game optimisation settings for MW3 on RX7900XTX as I am looking at buying one once the price drops. Is Nvidia reflex better than AMD anti-lag?
Hey @Panjno, thanks once again for putting out solid content for the community. I would like to suggest an AMD focused fresh instal must-do's compiling a few things you have done in other videos scattered around but more focused on "checklist" kind of thing. (BIOS/CSM/SecureBoot/rebar/declutter/debloat/Master Ryzen/Curve Optimizer/PBO/undervolt/Win Optimization) or perhaps a playlist including the ones you already have but just adding the missing ones for the intended instal. I see a lot in Forums/Reddits people with a lot of this kind of thing, trying to actually take the performance out of the hardware they paid for, and many times leading people to upgrade just because things are not well setup. Keep it up with good work man, been following for quite a bit, recommend to a lot of people to get the more educated and aware that systems get more and more complex and power-user skill depend to take the best out of their £. GL HF
Perfect optimization - New updated hardware and software - older games and games versions - runs every game at ultra setting at 50-60% system resorces 😮
As a long time AMD user one setting that gets overlooked is the driver Tesslation. Its game specific so try it, but override game Tesslation in Adrenaline per game, and set it to 32x(if your gpu can handle it). Ive done this in quite a few games and gotten a 10%-15% fps boost and the game LOOKS way better. Other times it looks better with no fps loss or gain, and sometimes it doesnt look any better or is an fps loss. Tesslation can be a bit off in some games, or just plain broken, and you dont even know it because ALOT of games dont even have a Tesslation setting in the game. Its 100% worth a shot though.
I'll have to give this a try. I'm new to PC gaming so I just assumed leaving stuff like that up to the application was better because it was less work for the GPU.
I changed 32x in Apex legend profile and game re-rendered shaders, the game looked same as it was (didn't notice carefully) and there was no significant change in fps
Yes it can. I have a liquid cooled gtx 1070 that ran horribly on Windows 10 (random bsods, etc). Tested the 1070 on another system. Set Windows to NOT install drivers, and then installed the latest GPU drivers. It runs perfectly fine. Always do a clean install. It saves a lot of BS trouble shooting 😂
If you set instant replay buffer to disk storage it will reduce SSD life significantly. I lost 24% of my ssd life in just few months bcz it constantly writes and deletes file on disk untill you save the video and it starts again after you save the video. Always use system memory if you have atleast 32gb ram, i have 32gb ram so i set it to system memory. You can try it with 16gb ram if your game dont use all of it.

If you can't resize bar in bios or in Adrenaline, you need to change your storage format from MBR to GPT. You also have to check your PC to see if it's capable of switching to UEFI. Look up MSB to GPT conversion, and how to change bios from Legacy to UEFI. If you have both, go into bios and turn off CSM, Then you'll be able to have resize bar on. Usually the computer won't boot without CSM on, but when booting from a UEFI drive it works.

zero rpm is actually really bad for gaming for many reasons 1: it cause unnecessary heat which brings the temperature of the entire pc up which causes more noise. 2: it cause premature wear on the gpu the hotter you run your system for longer the quicker thermal paste and thermal pads wear down causing a early death for the gpu. 3: excessive heat causes bad performance in game because your system has to underclock everything and use less power to create less heat (power is heat) the more power the more heat. overall what I'm saying is, is to take care of heat before it has a chance to even start. also just a little side note computers especially gaming pcs act very much like space heaters so if you have a small room it will heat up very quick and it will not be fun to play games in a hot sticky room lol. and another thing you can do to combat heat if you are having issues is getting a portable ac or any kind of ac that's what i did and i keep my ac at 62 f so the air from my room that my pc pulls in is cold and easily cools the pc off.
Watching this and wondering about application within VR..... Must try some stuff next time I throw on the goggles. The metrics overlay would be a good thing as well as some other optimisations. Thanks for the info.👍
Indeed this video is great, he actually knows what he’s talking about. One doubt I still have is related with freesync, when having a 144hz freesync compatible monitor what are exactly the settings both in game and adrenalin? For example, should we always use vsync? In game option or adrenaline? Should we always cap the framerate to match monitor hz?
Great video, thanks for putting this on. For the Fan Tuning is there any way to save that setting so it keeps it on start up? I change my fan curve and such but as soon as I restart the pc its all back to preset settings....cant figure out how to keep it the same. Thanks!

@cattysplat also if you are saying that I keep my fans at 100 percent all the time that's incorrect and I don't know where you got that from
Hey , can u make again a EFT FPS Guide? Just bought a RX7900 XTX sapphire nitro+ but im think im still not happy with my FPS 😢 im really frustrated.
Yeah I would LOVE the same. I have a RX7800xt paired with a 7800X3D. I'm only running at 1080p, 144hz though.
Epic video
What driver version were you running at the time of recording?
23 12 1 but fluid motion isn’t here yet it’s coming out soon I think
As someone who has a rx550 this helps improve everything

Great video, thanks for putting this on. For the Fan Tuning is there any way to save that setting so it keeps it on start up? I change my fan curve and such but as soon as I restart the pc its all back to preset settings....cant figure out how to keep it the same. Thanks!
Same bro lmk
