Is Jesus or scripture mentioned in his book? I here a lot of “God” but no Word Of God. I’m not bashing but just concerned that this is more humanism or just world philosophy with God thrown in here and there.

Lots of scripture in John’s books. The Bible is the foundation for everything he writes about.

Well, at least his dad was there till his 20s. Many don't have fathers at all or lose them very early. Speaking of being bankrupt.

He is speaking from his own story, for him it felt like being bankrupt, and I am sure it felt like that for many men who did not have a father or their father left...

There are studies that have been done that actually shows that a father present physically but absent emotionally and mentally can be just as damaging as a father who is totally absent if not more damaging... considering the fact that if you placed yourself in the position of someone who has a person around and expects certain things of that person, but only finds there is neglect and abandonment it can be more damaging to the child because they grow up confused and learn though the person's their physical that doesn't mean that they are totally there. It is dead weight

En Men also learn by copying women, and taking credit for ‘what he knows’.
