Incase any of you missed it, the sp2 on wolverine weapon x shown towards the end did around 300K damage.
The champ looks amazing, also so glad season 3 of battlegrounds is over or he would have been incredibly annoying to fight against
Season 3 was over in January bro.....Season 4 ended recently...

Remember everyone. Do not judge this champion by deep dive. There could be a better rotation for him and masteries could affect him a lot too.
Don't need to worry about that any more also his sp 2 has some big red numbers. Karate Mike has done a great job of showing the best rotations too. Does what looks to be a 200k sp2 on what I think is a r4 not bad for a utility king
Also he looks like a utility king basically has a 5% damage cap on anything but a sp 3

Future Antman looks awesome! The tech class really needed a champ like this. My only fear is that he needs to be awakened and how his awakened ability scales with sigs.

I like his special 3 as well I forgot to mention just because he has nanoants and also literally the punch down at the moment of the outro kicking in that was great. That was satifying
The way that the encroaching power detonation is executed it's a very interesting mechanic. Might have to re-watch to understand it a little bit better

So uh uh galan and valk suck against him
Just a note in case anyone gets confused, at 3:00 you see how Corvus gets glanced when directly hitting FAM and at 0:37 you see how this glancing ability also works on the block, It took me a while to process that but I think we can boil FAM (Yes I'm coining the abbreviation lol) as a defender down to:
Glances on the Block AND when you directly attack him via his unique armor buff.
Pierce effects (Passive and Buffs) stop this ability ^^^
Any form of Nullify/Stagger/Fate seal, Armor break or expiry will turn these buffs into passives with the exact same potency.
However, Neutralise will work for FAM very well!
The passive power detonation must be removed by using any special only after it has activated to avoid any chit damage (Vital to know in a BGs situation).
SP1: You need to dex this to avoid getting the Disintegration debuff on you via any form of contact (Hitting in the block or direct hits to you), again this is good to know in a BGs situation but any champ who purifies debuffs like Kingpin will do just fine.
SP2 doesn't really do much for defense unless you unfortunately take all of it on the chin..
Summary: Quite a complex defender in terms of the introduction of new abilities but specials are decently easy to dex with a little practice and having a combo ending attack glanced will cause you to be passively stunned unless have a pierce effect which stops the glancing all together.
Any input from anyone else will be great but I'm sure some content creator will make a great guide on this champ at some point, but I'm gonna bet no one will ever read this comment after a few weeks lol
Edit 1: Thanks Anon user for the tip, I glossed over this minor but crucial detail, so yeah; FAM's glancing is gonna be a bit of a butt when he comes out :l

I think it’s been two years now since Kang lost sound on his sp1
Here's a champion independent counterplay breakdown
1. When red clock effect appears, use a special before it expires
2. Try to backdraft intercept after 4th attack in a combo
3. Use any nullify/fate seal/stagger effect to feed MD, just don't expect them to go away lol
4. Don't block sp1, evade at all costs
5. Accept that this is a poorly designed champ that will absolutely require a neutralise, AAR or pierce on many different nodes and you can't do anything about him reducing your dps to a crawl through constant 70% glances and forced specials

@@sp1der561 back then champions that required a specific champ/ability rather than a specific playstyle to counter on defense was widely considered bad design. Now it's just another day in Kabam HQ. Thankfully backdraft light intercepts got a lot more consistent since then.
This guy resembles Iron Doom with that sp2 damage, and I really like the creativity with his character. Well done!

That's interesting so he gets to a higher nanoarmour number and he gets surging swarm increasing his attack making them more aggressive and also letting the encroaching power detonation expire faster that's awesome

Punisher 2099 also does a Disintegration debuff off his sp3. I think the only other champ that causes this debuff

Oh that's very interesting so his signature basically allows him to expire bleed and incinerate debuffs faster which gives him self repair which is non stacking so it keeps resetting. i can see that being used in a very tight situation where you're almost about to die

Ant-Man future is an interesting utility kind of Champion I'm interested to really get to know this character

Bro his awakening is a must have holy. I want him but his picture looks kinda odd ngl😭 Its as if its a png anyone can make, still want him tho i have a tech awakening gem and I've always wanted a champ who could reliably reduce combat power rate by a lot
He needs more synergies or something tho, he looks great but it feels like something is missing from this champ

Really think this is a no brainer r4 and potential r5 really amazed about those Red nubmers, which are even better than big yellow numbers. Also I think this man can bring bishop back in the game and to another level

This guy is gonna be a pain to fight, as for attacking slowly my guy AI literally blocks between combos, they won’t let you hit them slowly
then hit a little faster. theres different rhythms that you can hit at.

oh my gaud if this champion is played correctly he will be a god tier champion in the game even though he doesnt have much utility once ramped up well they can nuke defenders easily

I find it odd that we have this guy-whose only appearance is a supporting character in a 4 issue miniseries-before any version of Hank Pym.

Not really. This character and powerset seems largely unique as opposed to having another “Ant Man Classic” just to make it Hank Pym instead of Scott Lang.
