- IN THIS VIDEO I SHOW HOW TO MAKE A NICE SIMPLE CLOCK
FROM START TO FINISH USING CARVECO SOFTWARE
THE CLOCK IS MADE FROM 1/2 INCH MDF
I USED A 60 DEGREE V BIT FOR THE NUMBERS AND MARKS
I THEN USED A 1/4 INCH FLAT END MILL FOR THE CENTER HOLE AND TO RELEASE THE CLCK FROM THE BASE MATERIAL
BLACK SPRAY PAINT AND SAND THE PAINT OFF AND APPLY POLY FOR A FINISH Кино
Nice TUTORIAL, I think that's how it spelled, hehe. Will be trying this on MY CARVECO MAKER.
THANKS KARL!!
i learned a lot, thanks, Carveco ones are nice, too, but I think yours are, perhaps, more helpful, wish there were more.... at some point I may become able to run this program.
Thanks Lance glad you enjoyed the video
Nice tutorial. Carveco is pretty user friendly. They've done a great job keeping the end user in mind.
Super Carveco Tutorial! It's real easy to learn from your tutorials. Nice project.
Thank you sir
It is a beautiful clock.
It sure is a awesome tutorial.
Lot's of functions in this video that can be used for many different things in Maker. It is a great follow up from the stove covers with the 3D details.
Lot's of great information in both videos!!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it and keep watching to see what I can come with next
thanks for all the support!
@@Hinkleshop you should set up a affiliate account with Amazon. Every time I see a project that I'd like to make I look for an affiliate link to buy the parts, bits, finishes etc. I try to help the members of the community by using their affiliate programs so they can make a little money to help them keep making tutorials. It's a win win for the community!!
@@ClintonCaraway-CNC It’s funny you mention that!! I do have an Amazon affiliate link I just get so wrapped up making the video I forget to put it in the description LOL
A lot of the tools I use come from Amazon 👍
That's very thoughtful of you Vernon!
hi vernon i am having a go at your clock design can you please explain to me how you set yourX Y Z to the center just before machining it i have the onefinity cheers mick from England
Thanks for watching
To home to center I use a straight edge and run it diagonally from corner to corner of the stock drawing a light line which will locate center position the spindle over center as closely as possible then lower the bit over a piece of paper moving the paper after each slight movement downward until the bit catches the paper then zero all to that point and rock n roll
@@Hinkleshop cheers mate 👍 thanks for the quick responce i am new to all this but getting there cheers mick🍺🍺🍺🍺
sir. does the machine stop to change bits?
Thanks for watching Joseph
My typical strategy is to save the tool passes in separate files. Don’t move the piece re-zero the z height with a new tool and run the next file
DON’T RE ZERO X AND Y hope this helps
thank you.
