Casual soloer here. ESO will do for now (ESO+ subscriber) but I'm definitely checking Throne and Liberty and New World to see if they are a better fit for me. No central auction house and the inability of soloers to sell there make the game artificially cumbersome to me. I've never seen an auction system so hell bent on being disjointed and keeping soloers poor. I find killing 1,000 bats less of a grind than having to go from auction to auction looking for decently priced items. As I said, okay for now but I'm looking to move on. I rate it a 6 out of 10.

yea the amount of stuff to do is crazy if one is into that content
@@The_Gravemind I mean if I'm not having fun, I just don't play. Fun is the reward, IMO.
the pvp update being announced today will revamp bgs to 4v4 and 8v8 you should have waited to make this video until then because thats going to save eso pvp.
@@hvdiv17 two things.
1 I shouldn’t have waited cause them finally updating in quarter 4 of 2024 doesn’t take away from anything in this video and them not doing anything for PvP in years.
2: I don’t see how battlegrounds will make a difference, but let’s hope
Great video Nyce!
Could maybe say that scribing is a "pay to convenience" system like eso+ is? It's not mandatory but better if you have it
Thanks! And na pay to convenience is a different beast with an established definition already. I definitely agree it’s not mandatory though which is good
its a p2w system. i can literally be a triple dps/heal/tank hybrid in vet hm dungeons and good at all 3. it's a problem when you don't even carry a resto staff and your class has no good heals and you're healing better than a proper healer.
The game over all is excellent to me, but the combat…i hate the combat so much it stops me from playing. I usually redownload other games every other month and play for couple weeks then quit again
Yea I love the combat but it truly is one of those extremely hate or extremely love it kinda combats lol
@@Nyce-Gaming yeah
Awesome video!
Thank youuu!
I know the combat gets hated, but to be honest, i love doing my lights/heavys by myself and dont have the game do them for me.
Sadly 90% of players kinda love excactly that and i dont get it. Still think eso and nw have nice combat. Whiole NW is more tactical, eso is way more reactive and u need to be aware all the time when u do pvp =)
@@actosh7670 100% agree
I played without a craft bag for years. Leveled my main toon crafting without it. Cant believe I actually survived in game without being ESO plus for that long, but I do encourage everyone to try it for a while. Made me more appreciative for sure
To be fair you are looking at eso as just another MMO. The game in entirety is a dream to all elderscrolls fans who want the entire map of tamriel in one game with friends. I'm a core pvper aswell but because I love the series and in tune with the lore makes me appreciate the game far more than someone who just wants to play an MMO
Bud what do you mean “just another mmo” this has been my main game for 10+ years and my first mmo experience. In fact I acknowledge the game is great in its entirety especially if you factor in the lore, questing , and the IP itself. I think I acknowledged this idk how many times throughout this video. My only critiques was gambling and PvP support. Thus I’m not getting the point of your comment. But yes I agree with you. The game in its entirety especially as a fan of the elder scrolls series is very good
@@Nyce-Gaming point is, besides all your concerns it's elderscrolls, I garuntee you have no idea of the back story to fang lair :) this is a large reason not to appreciate the game despite its rough patches
@@Azzen234 so I don’t appreciate the game now? honestly I’m thinking u didn’t watch this video or you got upset about one specific comment. If you don’t know how much I love this game or how long I’ve played simply because I care to provide the occasional criticism then you’re delusional or misinformed
my one character has 279 days played you aint play more than me. that being said i literally dueled you and you left the duel in stonefalls, devons watch because i wasnt playing the way you wanted me to play the game. you are stuck in the past. the game isnt about pvp, and majority of players play it because its ELDERSCROLLS not because its an mmo or a pvp game lmao. go play ashes of creation because the game is different now. people who play it because its the elderscrolls universe will continure to play it. you are reviewing the game souly on a niche playstyle in the game. the game doesnt need people like you ruining it because of the constant complaining.
@@Nyce-Gaming the elder scrolls online (PVP) in 2024 is the correct title bud

@@Nyce-Gaming just commenting for algorithm
@@liammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm This dedication is unmatched 😅 thanks lol
So nothing has changed since I’ve been gone lol, nice to see you’re still playing. I might be coming back
Yea you aint missed much haha
@@Nyce-Gaming lol just took a look at my toons and I think I can jump back in no problem. I’ll start back on my max health necro and go from there. Kinda curious about the new system and to see if I can push the tank further
Ive took a whole year break from eso, im wasnt an doomsday caller sayin the game is dying, its clearly as alive as i remember since ive started back in one tamriel.
There just no combat like eso, if you love it , nothing else will come close
Very true
The most honest eso review
Thanks 🫡 was a long time coming
Casual soloer here. ESO will do for now (ESO+ subscriber) but I'm definitely checking Throne and Liberty and New World to see if they are a better fit for me. No central auction house and the inability of soloers to sell there make the game artificially cumbersome to me. I've never seen an auction system so hell bent on being disjointed and keeping soloers poor. I find killing 1,000 bats less of a grind than having to go from auction to auction looking for decently priced items. As I said, okay for now but I'm looking to move on. I rate it a 6 out of 10.
I definitely see that perspective. The second half of this year may be a good look for MMOs. We’ll see 👀

Also, great vid man!
