Unlock the sunroof and hit the mystery button.
My friend, I think you hit the nail on the head, winner winner ELK stake dinner. Good call for that's is what it is for.
Someone wired the blinkers into the seatbelt buzzer 🤣
There is a you tube video of advertisements for the 1960 Thunderbird. 2 of the ads clearly show the sunroof being opened by turning the handle on the roof and just sliding it back, no switch involved. I think possibly someone sealed that one shut with something due to leakage?. sure it could be restored to operational condition. Nice car, sure it will go quick,
Beautiful Thunderbird. Funny how ford built them to originally combat the Corvette and yet they turned into a luxury cruiser not even close to what it was originally thought of being.
Damn straight, I've got a 73 T-Bird which is a Lincoln MK IV without the Jewelry and grill. Great ride, tomb quiet in the cabin, super torque.
My dad’s first car is a 59 tbird ragtop with 3 on tree. He has had my mother and that car for over 60years. We restored together in 2010. You’re absolutely right Nick. These cars were futuristic and just cool!
One more thought of the switch on the left side was for the the windshield washer and it hit me like a ton bricks, after I thought about it. For it is so cool to see this car of yester year.
Watched another video on a 1960 T-bird and that switch on the left is for the windshield washer fluid.
Absolutely beautiful. She's already flying and it's still in Park.
mystery switch is the windshield washer switch.
Hey Nick that's a 1960 61 had the single big round tail light
I remember when the square birds were new from 58-60. I have always liked that car. I told my mom that I would get her one of these someday when I was 10 years old but I never did.
I had a 1958 t bird while stationed on Guam. I got it from someone being transferred. I had it from 1967 to 1969. When I was transferred. It is probably still on Guam.
Hi, that little switch on the left part of the dash is for the windshield washer
I think that sunroof might lock in both positions when the lever points left and right. I think it's unlocked when its pointing front to back.
For the comment that Bryanstaten5585 said it is for the roof to open. For this old t-bird was special order and I have not seen many like this and I think they only were made for only for 2 years. Restore it and you will see that it will bring a hell of lot more money. Great car great price, need I say more, BUTI LOVE IT !!
Nick, the cars back then were ahead of their time

Wow a spaceship on four wheels, gourgeus t bird, great sound from the engine,, inside just beautiful, thanks Nick great video stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟
Glad you enjoyed it
One fine looking Thunderbird very clean under the hood she's sweet one of my favorites this week
Always loved the body on that bird!!!!
Sey Nick !! That's a beautiful magnificent classic 💞 ( Thunderbird ride !) , and it's good to see you, and your 👁️ son enjoying some quality time 😉 in it -big -shout to you and him !!
My 2nd car when I was 16 was a white with red interior 60 thunderbird.
The switch you don't know what it is,is probably used to adjust the outside mirror
Agree considering the location of the mirror.
That is the windshield washer switch.
It's the power switch for the roof, unlatch the roof and push the button, I own the same car
What a GORGEOUS CAR the body lines& that paint color, also the interior like a planes cockpit, wish i had the funds. My neighbor has a 59T bird thats a dark charcoal color that is absolutey beautiful, the only thing not to like about this car.
Its not MINE.
Finally you got my favorite T-bird, I curious if it's a 312 Thunderbird special engine, but I wish I had the funds to purchase it, it's has very little to make it perfect 🥰
I have never ever seen a luggage rack above the windshield, but I checked and you could actually purchase it on the T-bird in 59 and 60, with the continental kit 😊
These Tbirds had the 352 cubic inch, big block FE engine as standard. A 430 cubic inch engine called the MEL, ( Mercury, Edsell, Lincoln) was also on offer as an option. Don't be confused with the two as these engines were quite different. Tbirds were built at Wixom, Michigan, which was the Mercury/Lincoln plant. Hope this helps out a bit.
Call the little bubbles what they are , Rust😂
Complain complain
@@josephwatson2711 You just have low standards.
I didn't want to say anything about it your right
lol. Play the underside shot in slowmo and see the big bubbles! Lol. Wondering if they own a salvage yard. Same aftermarket steering wheels and “hot rod” gauges in almost every car. Paintjob on a lot of them seems to be done by same painter. 😊
Normally don't like T Birds but that one is Kewl.
Nice 60 t bird. Looks awesome. Super clean paint. Big 12
The button you didn't know what was for is the winshield washer.
THE PERRY MASON BATMAN CAR !!
58 - 60 / , THEY WENT TO A TURBINE LOOK IN 61 -63
Maybe the switch is for the sun roof ?
The arrows on the dashboard (Between the clock and the speedo) was flashing for the signal (right signal). The other one is behind the tach. They're not very bright, but I could the right one flashing in the video.
That noise when you signal sounds like a "Bird" chirping! 😊
It does!
Please do the 66 impala next
I would disconnect that annoying blinker buzzer and I think the rear of that car would look so much better without the spare tire carrier. Can it be removed?
Agree on the spare tire carrier.
No way. That's the Continental kit. T-Birds GOTTA have that.🇺🇸😎👍
had one on my 55 chevy ragtop for about 2 months, called it my 2 thousand dollar rattle@@Anthony-vq1wn
Pretty cool.
😍Good looking Bird for the $$$ 👍
Sweet
Wow !!
Super car, Nick! Would love to make it mine......
Hermoso Auto 😍lo venden 😍ahun estará disponible 😍? Les mando un cordial saludo y un fuerte abrazo desde Puebla 😀México 😃🤗👍👌😍👋.
That button could have been for a power up/down antenna ❓
it has a 3sp cast iron cruise o matic transmission, i have rebuilt many of them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
It needs a set of supreme’s with OG white walls or Zenith wires that would Grand Slam it outta the park lol 😊
Bond Villain car! I need one.
Nice old bird nick 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice car Nick,good price!
🏆👀
Nobody will ride down the road and forget the turn signal is on
Oh ya horn rrrrrooooogaaaaa
Who’s singing in the intro ?. Gotta good country singing voice ..reminds me of the Netflix show . The ranch 👍🏻
My gut tells me that’s Nick…
Yep thats me 💪
Nice car,but I'm not big on sun roofs.Oh,and by the way, I love the candy apple paint on this car.Jphn Guinto
Come to BAMA! We Can Always Use Another Five Star Quarterback! 🏈🏈🏈🏈
I sold one for $400 in 1975, regret it to this day.
That thing is just begging for a 6 pack!
Power steering fluid probably low from leaking.
You failed to mention if this vehicle was a off the frame restoration or how much bondo it has
No it’s not and it prolly has bondo but I point out sanding spots or any signs of work done in every video including this one. Thanks
She is beautiful she was someone's baby
60 not 61
Someone from cali needs to make into a lowrider😂
try the switch on the left of the steering wheel, see if that's for the sunroof..
Hey man don't be flyin down the road in my car lol ...she sure does shine pretty !
