Thank you, from Canada. It boils my blood to see the way the laws are constantly getting worse up here, thank you for rescuing these peices of history
I feel for you. Vote 'em out! Before it's too late.
They don't want us armed ... I wonder what they are planning ?
100%. These are not guns used in crimes or by gangs. We need a new government.
Yeah , then you can be like the US
@@g54b95 ++++++++++++
What thing to hope and pray for.
Hello From Brasil
So sad to see historical pieces destroyed by hysteria.
Where can i order a box?
Thank you from Canada love these guns, hate what is happening here
C21 and C11 are the worst things that we've seen in decades and decades
@@b0rd3n It's such an insult to the heroes who brought these back and the human history. The fact that they'd destroy these relics is genuinely disturbing and insulting to everyone involved in ww2, to its victims, and to the descendents forced to relinquish valuable family heirlooms from their war hero ancestors.
Hell even if Canada banned all guns, these should be held in a museum not be crushed. I love seeing these guns but this really disturbs me deeply. I'd rather never see another luger video again if it meant they stay at home where they belong. It's such an insult to some of the bravest soldiers in ww2.
They’ll go as far as we let them.
As a Canadian This is so frustrating to see while I prefer this to them being destroyed I feel that to many Canadians are just giving up and selling their guns rather than fighting to keep them.
This Canadian ain’t givin em up!
It's same in most countries here in Europe. I live in Sweden, and you can only own a gun legally on the grace of the state here, unless it's an old muzzle loader from before 1890, and most people just accept it. Of course criminals here have guns, but then again gun control was never about anything else than disarming the law-abiding.
Canadians do NOT have to give them up or turn them in. They can keep them and shoot them as long as you live. Most gun's going to the USA are from old Collectors who cannot leave them to anyone or have them sold after they die, everyone else is keeping their handguns. It is sad sales except to Dealers is over. How are you going to fight for them when the Courts are filled with Liberal Judges that ALWAYS side with the Liberal Government gun Laws. ALL Political Parties in Canada here have the Same agenda to ban gun's, but some weak minded people the ones who also took the shots and boosters believe in the Corrupt Klauss Schwab Trained Pierre Pollievre to reverse the gun laws, HE WILL NOT, they all have the same boss.
@Francis Dec I am sure that armed robberies are worse in Sweden than the UsA, innocents being gunned down by criminals must be horrifically worse than USA, just a hellscape for the law abiding Swedes
You can't fight to keep them because there's too many liberals in Canada who love Justin Trudeau. As an Americcan, I saw the white liberal girls swoon over him because they thought he was hot and didn't care much else. Thinking he was the modern day JFK
Someone is surely sick about losing those jewels.
All Canadians are sick to see our resources go but less sick than seeing them destroyed by our psychotic WEF pandering brain dead PM.
They should vote differently.
@@keithgrandstaff6343 sadly a lot of Canadians votes literally don't matter or have any sway when it comes to the federal election. The way the government is structured basically allows an eastern government to completely pander to only the east and completely ignore the west because all they need is the East's vote . So it leads to everyone feeling disenfranchised and jaded but you bet your ass i go and vote every time I can
Rescued from Trudeau the Tyrant.
I would definitely adopt one of those poor little things
I’m telling you! I have other friends for these poor orphans… I know we could arrange a good “forever home” for any one of them!
I’m from Minnesota , we will probably need a rescue soon
Just ask someone to slingshot one over the border in a rural area.
The whole usa.
Be well up there, plug. We know not all Mn is like the big cities.
I wont let the wife travel to Bloomington either.
Luger is arguably the coolest handgun ever made.
Not arguably it just is the coolest hand gun ever made
Colt vest pockets are some real sexy stuff too. If you never had one in your hand, i hope you do one day! They don't have the notoriety (and probably the reliability, unless well cared for) but they are nice little beauties
@@b0rd3n I love little pocket pistols
Such a TRAGEDY. Trudeau MUST GO
Sad these people are having to get rid of family heirlooms
Shall I assume Exporter buys these by the pound? I have many relatives in Commie Coldland Canada who won't be turning in any bring-backs.
damn that JT for ruining these precious treasures
Really happy to know that these will have a chance to live on now. I can't understand the destruction of anything. Absurd and preposterous.
What really rips me about both countries, Canada and the United States is the way both of them do someone else's business for them and in concert with them. Hey Canada, Hey USA, this pistol is my property; what gives you the right to stand on my property rights and say I don't have the right to possess this pistol.
In Canada, the law?
I'm over 60. My formerly feral kitty is all I worry about. F them. Giving up nothing. Militiagan. MERICA. 🦅😈
@@rb239rtr so basically whatever the pm desires because he can and has just ordered things into law like a 14th century decree from an almighty king. Makes a guy really respect the law when they bypass due process .
I'm always drooling at the Lugers you get! Wish I could afford to buy a nice one.....maybe one day. Living on a tight fixed income as a disabled veteran is tough! 👋
Sam, you have said ALL the necessary things to make SURE you will NEVER get the gun.
But you will.
Make decision that you ARE getting it . The process starts today.
Start talking to people about it. Even if laughed at. Talk to people who have/deal/collect them.
Soon you'll see some mismatched parts, a bastard with scratches units with ugly grips. With some patience, cheap tools and chemicals you will one day SEE YOUR LUGER.
Not a museum piece but your own.
You see.. I know it works. BECAUSE I was told to stop planning for failure and contemplate my inabilities. Instead I made a decision that I AM GETTING my vintage Harley!
Yeah! At the time i couldn't even walk into the store to get myself a new bicycle. And then things started to happen.
Oh it is an ugly thing screeming for professional hands and some more parts but...
Its mine!
Takes me places!
Made me understand our power of thought.
You are getting your LUGER if you'll start tomorrow and won't stop.
Peace
@w.loczykij5354 , well stated and thanks! 😉
These must have been applied for export before the Canadian Gov't decided to go full retard. The standard short barrels were already considered 'prohibited', but were still transferable within the 12(6) class - now all handguns are frozen and no transfers can take place within Canada. I'm glad to see these ones at least made it across the dotted line. And to those who think this problem can be voted out - just remember all establishment political parties in Canada were signatory to the 'United Nations Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons - Programme of Action '
You can't vote them out. Here in Sweden we have 8 parties in the parliament. All 8 are in favour of draconic gun control. The only way to do it is like the US and never allow any stricter gun control in the first place, or like people on the Greek islands, the Arab world, some countries in Latin America etc and simply have illegal guns, but then it must be a thing that the majority of the population quietly agrees on. You can't do it in a country of cowards, like Canada, Sweden, the UK etc.
Thank you Canada for being respectful to us Luger collectors and saving some fantastic Lugers. I can’t imagine melting any Lugers but a G or KU date Luger would make me cry.
I’ve just ordered a copy of Tom’s Third Reich Luger book so can everyone else who collects Lugers help support this channel and order theirs on legacy collectables to help them continue saving rare pistols from the scrap metal factory
Thank our creep leader turdo. I think he's trying to stamp out toxic masculinity in Canada.
Great watching you like a kid in a Candy store! It never gets old looking at these great pistols.
You are the Oscar Schindler of Lugers, him that rescues even just one, saves the pistol type entire.
Mega upvotes LOL !!
Sadly, Lugers were used to dispatch many Jews, ROma, prisoners
@@rb239rtr Nazi fascist industrialists are back in bussiness running the world. I'd rather have a luger. Than the war criminals pulling the trigger.
@@rb239rtr Based off what factual evidence?
@@JEJAK5396 It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. The Luger was a common pistol assigned to SS and to the Einsatzgruppen.
Great video glad you are rescuing these guns from the tyrants. Randy hope your date is as pretty as the lugers..
Note that all vehicle’s going north into Canada are being searched by Canadian customs, I presume this is to look for firearms, I could be wrong but I doubt it.
wish i can own one 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Could you please take the time to explain how and what the process is for getting these across the border? I figured it would take a long time with them sitting somewhere before they got through. And is any holdup due to the Canadian side or the US ATF side? I find it interesting that since Canada and the US ATF are so anti-gun that either side even allows them in or out. I would think Trudeau would say, "to hell with them, destroy them" and the ATF would say, "lol, we don't want them here"
ATF some one would love to have this as a collectible, those undesirables can suck it. The AT&F can can suck a Glock, also of German origin. Not nearly as artistic.
That's weird. Why can't I see the first reply here?
Like to know also
As I understand they have to be stamped by the importer so many days after entring the country
@@bertroost1675
I might have said the AT&F can suck a Glock?
@@tomhenry897
Does Legacy become the importer? That would be cool by me, the future would know it was for rescue. For Rescue 🛟 would be a good importation company name IMHO.
So sad what Justine is doing up there. ❤🙏 from Michigan. 😪
Truly bad. Handguns cannot be bought or sold in Canada. It costs a criminal $5k to get a handgun on the black market. Oddly enough, there are near zero home invasions and near zero armed robberies of common citizens, let alone murders.
@@rb239rtr Huh? Have you heard of Toronto?
@MegadethTillDeth yes I have. An area population of 8 million. Crime relatively absent compared to south of the border
WHY exactly are Lugers illegal in Canada? What makes them illegal let's say compared to a 1911 or a Glock??
It’s all pistols now I believe. It’s the rare and valuable ones (like these Lugers) that folks are trying to rescue.
They banned all pistols in the UK in 1996, and the EU forced Austria to change its gun law, that was very similar to the US Second Amendment, in 1993. They even forced Switzerland, that isn't in the EU, to get a draconic gun law. It seems that most people *want* to be slaves.
Barrels 4” and under are classified as prohibited weapons..that artillery Luger was ok until the current laws came out
Turdeau is really good for you. Let this be a lesson for us all. Elections have grave consequences for some.
Stolen elections…
Take care of those beautiful pieces. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
I bought the veteran bring
Back books. I saw that you contributed Tom. You should do your own on the subject.
Oh.....Canada.....
We have our woke idiot Liberal government to blame for these fine guns having to be removed from our country.
Anyone in Canada who wants to stop these ludicrous bans, please join and donate to the CCFR. The team there already has a legal challenge against the 2020 OIC and are pushing heavily against bill C21 (handgun ban)
Rescue guns!
How much is that Luger in the window...how much is that Luger for sale!
Great video! Please...keep the rescue efforts going! Canadians are nice, but to crush these guns is a crime! Keep up the good work, & keep those videos coming!
Little rescued Lugers are so cute😍😍😍😍
I would expect a pistol manufactured 108 years ago to show some wear and maybe a little corrosion damage on the outside. What I would find more important would be the condition of the barrel rifling, the condition of the bolt, the firing pin and the related springs. The last Luger I shot was a WWII prize that was like brand new in 1972 and shot like a dream. Very accurate and the only argument you could make against it was that the ball ammo I had did not expand at all and easily went through a 4X4 three feet long, standing on its end without even making it wiggle.
absolutely disgusting!! they need to find their backbones turn them on the govt there and not get rid of them!!!!
Outstanding addition to your collection.
Do they have to be import marked?
Adopting the homeless is the best way to go. You can save a lot of lives.
These need rescued for history's sake.
I love Lugers. I’ve never owned one and as cool as the originals are: I really want a .32acp erma copy.
The snaildrum looks like it was used a lot. Sweet
You get what you vote for
Tom do you keep a record of mismatched Mag Numbers and Luger numbers so they could be maybe Matched with the correct ones at some point in the future?
He mentioned in one video that he has called people years later when the seller says they have found the mags or holster.
I don't think he loos up the SN before throwing them up online if they didn't come from the same seller. Though they would probably pay more than others ro have matching mags.
Com crtza Luger, Walther e Colt são armas de confiança e precisas valeu
I don’t understand why they need to be rescued. By Canadian new law Canadians cannot purchase new handguns, but can keep the existing ones.
Unless the owner is about to die, since transfers are illegal, then it makes sense.
Stop taking all our lugers!
Send those bad units to Lugerman Inc for a restoration!
Are those repo pot holders or original?
Thank you Tom and Randy like your videos.
Allways love any post on lugers
....and please inform us about Randy's luck...😉
I'd love to help them save some of those old jewels.
What mental state must you be in to turn these in? I love my Canadian brothers and sisters that thirst for freedom, but this is beyond disappointing. I'm imagining you up north feel the same way. Good luck
does canada put a ban on museums? or why you need to rescue stuff that really should be in museums, even if individuals could not have them for fear of toppling the government by 80 year old german weaponry.
Works of art that could have been used as legitimate self protection for their previous owners ordered to be destroyed by malicious petty little minds. you will own nothing[including bodily integrity]and be happy or sent to a reeducation camp. it will only get worse for us all from here.
You need to identify the import marked items on your website. You also post pictures oriented so that views cannot see if there is an import mark or not. You may not think it detracts, however a lot of other people still do.
well done tom nice stuff
Enjoyable and informative.
Ah thank god you could get those beautiful guns out of this tyrannical hell hole before treaudo had the rcmstapo destroy them personally
My first time here, I'm confused, how are you getting these guns?
where are these coming from people selling them off quickly?
Who is the exporter?...I will donate them there rather than have them taken away(if it comes to that) so that they will continue to live.
Canada makes me sick. I hate living here. Every day it gets worse and worse.
Ever find one of these with a round in the chamber? Hope these are checked before waving them around.
i need one of these how can I purchase one ,,,,,,, lives in california
Our bad fortune, Turdeauis out of control... at least they are not being destroyed
newbie here...do you sell these? i would be interested in a firing one of low quality.
🎼 D'oh Canada...
😍😍😍😍😍😍
It must be terrible to live in Canada. I feel sorry for them
find me a Diemaco 20" barrel for a C7
In 1945 my Dad brought back to England a wooden box of x50 brandnew, unfired Lugers given to him by a German officer, a few days after the liberation of Jersey. He kept them for a number of years hidden away under lock and key, up until the early 1960's when he decided to get rid of them. I think something must have spooked him to dispense with them. So he dumped them in the sea near where he lived at the time, never to be seen again! Imagine how much they'd be worth now.
if he didn't have a firearms certificate there's a chance he could've gotten arrested if were caught with those pistols, I think that someone was blackmailing your dad and hide them were they would be never found in case he got raided.
👍Love this channel!
Deceptive / False advertising!!! Alert, Alarm, Beware! The photo shows a box of Oven mitts, but, alas, he is not an oven mitt salesman! I demand a refund!
Can you guys rescue Canada?
That first one you picked up probably has a repaired receiver plate....that's why it's painted a different colour....prohib models were made inert by cutting that plate and this has probably been re-welded.
Inglis hi powers and possibly Radoms up there I wonder
Hopefully they can find their way home to Germany.
if canada wants to crush em so bad how can they be exported instead?
Some angry lefties who didnt get to have these destroyed.
Man am I envious. Thanks for the vid.
I have to stop watching this, it's too good.
Wow
Another box of stuffed oven mitts!
I don’t have enough money 😢
Get some of those Mausers and M1a
What a nice score
what a shame.......
Who would be given these guns officers?
The German armed forces issued large amounts of handguns to all ranks as personal weapons, especially where a long rifle would be impractical, such as truck drivers etc. There is a myth that pistols were a sign of officer rank.
The dark irony is that in Nazi Germany any civilian who wasn't a Jew, a communist etc, could legally own a gun without much trouble.
Prices?
WOW...!!!
👍
"Can you imagine destroying these guns?" Yeah, I can totally imagine it and it gladdens my heart that those guns are being sent to the people who will use them to uphold their 2nd Amendment rights. Try not to kill all the children, okay America?
On the subject of gun "buy backs" and destruction I was speaking to a policeman in the local weapons registry here in Australia about the 1996 guns grab & He stated he was burning walnut stocks for three winters in his fireplace from the guns that were handed in. I myself saw several large bags of "gunmetal" at the scrapyard of guns cut into short 6" lengths. I remember seeing a forlorn L1A1 flash hider poking out of the top of one bag along with an SKS muzzle & front sight. I was told at the time the gun buy back was not because I couldn't be trusted with semi-auto's & pump actions, it was other people couldn't be trusted. Funnily enough, a state Government department trusted me to use their L1A1 & Mossberg 500 in their National Parks & reserves to control feral animals at around the same time.
The state is always lying. There was an old school mate here in Sweden, who wasn't allowed to keep his pistol in his father's safe, because his father "only" had a rifle license and couldn't be trusted to have a pistol in his safe. That's of course bullshit, since your rifle license will be revoked for little more than a speed ticket here.
Using peoples property for firewood, what a pig.
There is no right to own a firearm in Canada, never has been. It's always been a privilege, and privileges can be revoked
Well technically abortion is not a "right" in any country but the fanatics who love to kill their children treat it as one, I suggest that non American gun owners do the same, because the future frankly, belongs to the entitled.
Not a MoFo lol
It looks like you have a LOT of Lugers and I know you can't shoot more than two of them at a time , sooo...Can I have one?
Even a crappy one would be fine!...Just askin' from Texas!
