Hey Daniel a good idea with the next fish feeder would be to tie it up in one of the trees you have in the pond since you got your pontoon to go back an forth
You need to put a pillow under his rear so he can see over the dash and hood.
My fish feeder go flooded when the pound got to high. It quit working. I brought it in and dried it out. I replace two resistors and a diode. The MOLETREE is back in service.

Ha. We didn't have UTV's or Sidekicks when I was a kid. I learned to drive with the tractor and riding lawn mower (hey! try parallel parking or backing up a trailer with those!). It was an almost similar situation, which made my driving test easy (except for being hearing impaired and the instructor not speaking up about turns!). Houston learning on that Kubota sidekick is going to make his driving test easy. Just use it for the hard stuff - parallel parking, backing up, backing up with a trailer, etc. He'll ace that driving test.
Being deaf myself, I'm really disappointed that RUclips didn't add the auto-captions to this video. You've got a great voice, Daniel, and thankfully, after going through all your back-videos, I've become accustomed to it, so I was able to follow along. I would love to know why some videos get auto-captions and some don't, though.
And, several days later, I checked out this video one more time. Now the auto-captions are on there. Guess I need to wait a couple of days before watching. SO glad RUclips does this. Facebook never does.
I know dad had the most fun out there (it's a daddy thing); I did S,E.R.E. school in the Navy and when my kids were Houston's age I would eat the bait, which would drive them crazy. lol Fun times. We just bought a farmstead with a small pond thinking about adding some vegetation to help with erosion. Maybe add some vegetaion to donthe same. Great video having the boys out fishing. Thanks for sharing.
Those bluegill make for some good eating, they grow to a good size. That’s my favorite fish to eat.
You have bald eagles nesting in the area. There is another problem. So you have otters and bald eagles who feed on bass

Couple of things I noticed, you are going to need a bigger pond pontoon boat soon and a upgrade of a fish feeder. Not catching fish,well that's just fishing, I wouldn't worry too much!

If you don't have saltwater in the pond your feeder might NOT be totally wrecked. You may get away with just changing the battery. Try remove battery, rinse and dry it and replace with fresh batteries. 🐐☃️🐣👍😀

Does your pond grow crawdads? Up here when we fish the bass suck them empty and leave the shell on the hook.

Build a little dock platform to mount the feeder on. That will help with erosion from the coons.

Could you weld up a heavy duty swing arm for the fish feeder? Have it hanging far enough over the water that when it sprays all of it lands in the water but have it able to swing over to the bank when it needs filling.

Houston needs a driving cushion under him. Do you think it might be deer too with the feeder? I always enjoyed myself out fishing on the water. Peaceful with loons calling. Assuming a bag of rice won't work on that motor. Should set up 2 or 3 camera's one on each end, maybe one on the other side from where the feeder was. One way to see if you find others around for sure. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))
I was thinking maybe to keep the raccoons out of the fish feeder make a platform out in the pond. You are good at welding and could make a platform that you could sink in the pond. I think the raccoons would rather an easy meal than swimming out in the pond to get to the feed. I might be wrong on that, but you could always incorporate the spikes they use to keep raccoons from climbing up deer feeders. You have a small boat so getting to the feeder for a refill would not be a problem.
