Welp welcome to the back half of the series! All aboard the pain train. Really do love the parallels between the teachers and our main couple. At first when they introduced the teachers, I wasn't sure why, but this episode really solidifies the purpose of showing us their relationship. Mitchan better than me because if I ran into that truck driver, oh he'd probably be needing a breathing tube - good thing they're at a hospital lmao. Jokes aside, Mitchan's restraint in that entire scene was amazing but since we heard his inner monologue, we know that he was doing everything in his power to refrain from offing the truck driver. You're definitely right - I do believe that he's in the stage of his grief where he is angry and frustrated - it's all over his face in this episode with everything happening (Koichi being invisible to others and running into truck-kun's driver). That scene outside the hospital with the back hug got me all teary eyed. I can definitely relate to you in regards to feeling okay right after watching something sad but taking a day or so the get all the emotional whiplash. This happened to me with My Tomorrow Your Yesterday (and if you have yet to watch it, I highly recommend). I was okay right after watching it but come the next morning I felt all the sadness that came with the ending of the movie. I think it's worst that way - that's why I refer to it as emotional whiplash lmao.
Our brains really said this emotional whiplash is a problem for the you tomorrow. Damn this train must be going through a moody tunnel, its gotten too SAD! I need to get off at the next stop before it hits me with more whiplash!
@@shishi8157 yup this is an express train and the moody tunnel will last till the end of the series and unfortunately the next stop is the town of misery 😭
I would say that episode 7 is a little bit lighter than episode 6, (i can't reveal the full details, but there is a line there between Mitchan and their friend Kagamiya that left a message for those who are experiencing loss)
@@shishi8157 unfortunately, it is another sad episode but there's a bit of happiness yet that bit of happiness still makes me cry :((( and please watch the teaser after, because that scene of Mitchan wasn't included in episode 8 (and it's pretty cute)
