The "big pink trumpety plants" are called Naked Ladies. My mom was pointing some out to my husband on a recent visit, and his response was that they were pretty but a bit disappointing.
Glad you found the bowl. Good eye there. That iron hold the boat upright in storage. They used to grease them, and they kick out to slide back in water. Beautiful scenery there. That church needs much work to convert. Being next to the road would not be ideal.🌻
Charity shop record section. I swear there were some similar records there from the other place you folks went. De'Niro is doing very well at those circle gates. Those islands are on my bucket list, at least one of them. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed this episode. I laughed so much. But learned along the way too. Dinero is so cute. Now I’m wondering. Is a dog getting the zoomies a Scottish expression? My Scottish husband uses the same terminology when our dog gets the zoomies. I’d never heard it before. I’m glad your drone survived. It would have been a sad day if it had been badly hurt. Yeah, we really like it there. Just big enough to have everything you need but rural enough to have lots of pretty bits.

It’s a cracking looking church, and there’s not a lot of traffic.

Thanks. I just found out I had ancestors from there who settled in New Hampshire sometime pre-colonial.

I’d never heard of Zoomies until we started hearing about Greyhounds. It’s a term that just fits though :)
