It's nice to see that Golden Sun isn't forgotten.
Venus Lighthouse is a hard one to get right, and you knock it out of the park while also making your version sound unique. Well done.
Overworld Theme Two (Marching Forward with Determination) next??
The strings in the opening really help cement the feeling of finality that Venus Lighthouse represented for the first game; Then the electronica theme kicks in to make it otherwordly within its own context, without shaking that "fantasy" feeling at the same time. Good work as always!

22 years later, and Golden Sun lives on. It will forever be a part of me, as it influenced me in so many ways. I really wish Nintendo would show it some recognition it deserves, like a Switch Release (and maybe even a remaster). It deserves it.
I love Golden Sun so much, especially its music. The choice to give this piece such a somber start as opposed to the original is such a cool idea. It gives a fitting weight and sense of finality to the theme of the last dungeon in the game.
As I stand here listening to this while waiting in line at a Lego store I have one thought: Golden Sun would make for an amazing animated series.

With the way this is arranged; it really reminds me of the final dungeon theme of Tales of Symphonia. Orchestral and bombastic, yet only just enough to accentuate and not overtake the piece. Both have, to me, a somewhat similar feel yet clearly different.
Needless to say, I really love your rendition of this theme. Even as a dumb 9-year-old child when this came out; I was absolutely enthralled by this. Thank you for both the nostalgia bomb and sharing your rendition to us!
I never finished Golden Sun, but I loved what I played. Hope it gets a remake one day

This arrangement captures the essence of this part of the first Golden Sun perfectly. An almost close to ending journey, as the team rushes to the top to stop who they believe are harming the world.
It portrays the determination and stakes of it all, with the short calm segments as a reminder to keep focused, with a straight mind. Now's not to get excited, as it's not over yet, while at the same time, knowing an epic battle is soon to commence.

Venus has to do with one of the four elemental stones and towers that are lit by them in the series. It's what sets everyone off on a grand quest. One party to light the towers, the other to stop them. The games cover both sides and it's not always so black and white. 👌😌 The lore is really good too!

The composer is making the soundtrack for the new One Piece rpg coming soon called One Piece Odyssey.

This has been on my playlist for work recently, so I've probably heard it at least a dozen times in the last couple weeks. And the intro still gives me goosebumps every time. This is wonderful!
Maybe I've been playing to much of them lately, but this hits like an Ys theme, the up beat bob of an electric rock, I just love this kind of video-game music, it's awesome.

There's a lot of MIDI music in Super Mario Galaxy that could use an upgrade. The creepy boss theme, the speedy/daredevil theme, the rolling theme, and Deep Dark Galaxy, to name a few. Also the beta theme originally meant for Cloudy Court in the second game.
This is really good - only thing I'd even think of changing is the "whining" instrument in the chorus, probably to something like a cello or violin. Or perhaps acoustic/electric guitar?
Of course, take this with a grain of salt. These are my personal ideas - this arrangement is stunning.
