Very cool. I went to Grizzly to have a look, they only carry the digital gauges now. I like dial gauges, so I'll look elsewhere. I never about scribing with a height gauge. I've been using calipers to scribe, which sometimes introduce errors due to the method, placement and peculiarities of wood (and guitars). The height gauge would be more accurate for me with wood with a flat reference surface. Definatly would be better for tool height.

GREAT video. accuracy is critical. tape rules are trash can filler if you want good results.
