Take your time to learn. It gets better. I'm no ace, far from, got some tier 8 ships. For now enjoy playing T6 an T7 most in random battles. T5 BB's generally suck but T6 are OK.
So, it's been like half a year, so I assume you others got better or quit, but I'm still going to give some basic pointers. Macro is king in this game. In other words, who wins an engagement often is decided before the first shot in that engagement is fired, by positioning alone. You also have to be aware of what ships are doing what. Like, for example, a Japanese heavy cruiser is turning broadside to you? He's sending torpedoes, 100% of the time. By the time you see those torpedoes, it's too late to turn. So turn towards or directly away from that cruiser to dodge most of the torps. Similarly, you see smoke screen? There's a destroyer in there or behind it, most likely. If you are playing a battleship: they are slow. Always check the minimap to see what's where. Don't push alone, you'll die. Turn your front towards the enemy, even if this means not firing half your guns. Go broadside only if you are sure that one salvo will finish off whatever you are shooting at. Also, don't just sail in a single line at a constant speed when fighting, it makes you a very easy target for long range torpedoes.
Opposite for me, Just recently got the Stalingrad after having the Bourgogne. You won't be dissapointed with the French BB, Always have a decent game in it even with it's smaller BB guns.

You’d be surprise how many DONT switch ammo types Choosing to or not to fire at the sub on the surface is a good question. Because a single fire doesn’t really do much damage at all (especially as he us running flags/skills to bring it down to a mere 30 seconds). Secondly, the DCP has a long cooldown that isn’t worth blowing on a single fire unless you’re absolutely sure nobody is going to toss HE at you - imagine putting out one fire only to instantly get one or two new ones started. As such, as a general rule, you should let a single fire run it’s course.

I'd guess that to be the case. I remember quite some time ago there was a reward mission that required the Massa. I just got the Massa B from a Black Friday container while that mission was going on, but Massa B didn't count for the mission. Therefore I'd assume the rest of the game treats all ships with slightly different names as different ships as well, no matter that they are basically clones.
ive just quit bbs lately cant do anything but get farmed by high explosive and cvs i do far better in a cruiser now which is the opposite of how i usually play
I grinded the StVincent line and I think it's one of the best BBs for today's META, speed and british acceleration for dodging CV shits and incoming fire, superheal for HE spam (with low HP for BB which is good combined with the skill that reduces heal cooldown with potential damage, 60 sec cooldown on a superheal is no joke.), 457 with short fuse to rekt cruisers, and DFAA so T8 CVs aren't an issue and T10 somewhat pay a bit for striking you. It made me enjoy BBs again.
@Project_MATO I got to t8 of that line just having a soul crushing time getting to t10 same being stuck on t8 in the French line can't hit the broad side of a barn
Yup, at top tier BB's are just farming targets for unstoppable CV attacks, hill hiding autoloader cruisers burning you down and 20km torps. However, as a Columbo main: HAHA SAP GOES 28K SALVO
@Wedge Antilles I do still enjoy the Vermont and some others for the joy of landing big hits but it's a lot more stress than just flying around in a cruiser harassing everyone
British BC is your best alley for today's meta. The superheal is mint. I run furious to allow fires to give me a buff to reload. Since superheal repairs all fire damage, mine as well get value out of them. Plus then you can save the DC for when you get too many fires and need to cool off. On my nelson I allow up to 3 fires, allowing health to get really low, and reload feels really nice. Then print 32k 😆 🤣
Nice game you featured there mb. Some additions though.. not a single class or ship sub division is being exactly mirrored besides the 5 main classes... and even those depend on the time spend on queing up before battle.. So having hybrid cv or bb is a total shitshow in the current match maker, same as any hydro, radar or gimmick ships. Read up on you Wows 101 please :D since you are not doing anybody any favors this way. Then knowing this mixup with kearsarge's, people divisioning up in them and then combining this fact with the new hybrid US CV/BB comming up, will make the game and matchmaking even more volatile in the future. WG continues to improve the fun and engaging experience that is Wows for the player base lol. Not even talking about perma spotting and the difference and lack of consistency between all hybrid cv bb and cruisers already in game to make how they work in game more obvious to people.. Just remember, if you hate being dumped on bij subs, cv's or the "new WG party trick class of the month" hybrid US bb/cv just don't pay WG for their gimmicks to support them, it's a free to play game after all.

I like your comments, but in my short experience, it seems strange to call that well-balanced mach since he barely had 1 million potential damage. I have more games with tier8 in tier 10 battles with my potential damage, which is usually close to 2 million. I conclude from this that he didn't get enough attention from the enemy like his teammates up until the end when there wasn't much enemy left. Second, he predominantly engaged 1 to 1 fighting, which maybe is his doing, like good positioning etc. but again, in my experience, it is more like luck of team play rather good positioning.

Why did he not use his Damage Control to put the fire out at the beginning? He just let the fire burn
I wish I could have games like this
Me over here running the stupidity divisions like triple Agir or even thinking of bringing two other whales alongside myself for a triple kronshtadt division...
Maybe matchmaking thinks of the Kearsarge B as a different ship and that's why its doubled up? Same with the Jean Bart B.
The Title one simple trick to make you s much BB captain? Where???
Swapping back and forth between ammo types
ive just quit bbs lately cant do anything but get farmed by high explosive and cvs i do far better in a cruiser now which is the opposite of how i usually play
Great match
'Alsace' rhymes with 'bus'!
Lol. I heard that too. It does not
Is it just me, or was the video quality of this replay awful?
Simple trick: Get Bourgogne.
Bourgogne is pretty much the new Thunderer in terms of busted.
seems way better then tech tree t10
@@Moon_Cricket_Stinks actually Bourgogne is older than Thunderer
@@Moon_Cricket_Stinks Exactly. But somehow Thunderer got all the bad press.🤔
yea its like this game doesnt have enough HE spam huh
Nice one
Wanna be a better captain? Get rid of your Battleship and get yourself a #Fletcher-Class #Destroyer ..
If thunderer is OP then what we call this one !
Good game, yet still a clickbait. In term of HE spam from BB's I'd use Thunderer.
I have this ship used to be great until subs and cv with jets its aa useless, its anti sub is useless.
Amazing game!
would like to be an asashio in that game, so many fat juicy bbs
Feed the algorithm
Great Game!
You need a script my friend.
For a *live* commentary?
This guy sails broadside to a JB for the final 3 mins and gets lucky 3 times not getting citadeleted. Not saying this isn't good game play, but he's no pro, especially calling his Georgia shit when he didnt switch to AP.
Fun match
"This vid is going straight to Jingles"
Cool game
GG
I just got this Bourgogne and so far it's horrible. It's dispersion is God awful and it's 380s don't hit hard
Be a better BB Captain: SUck WG's 8inch gun and fork over money for better RNG....
Great match but there was NO TRICK for BB players. Or maybe to simple pay attention to map and where DD is a trick.... ;/ silly
Ammunition selection
@@sealordmountbatten well that's pretty obvious... thanks for the answer anyway Mountbatten ;)
this dudes reporting dudes like 2 min in
I dont see a way to send you replays... got a really good one recently, 12 kill in div, got all 3 replays :)
"World of Warships- One SIMPLE Trick To Make You A MUCH Better Battleship Captain"
Best BB Captain is a sunk BB Captain. So push W and straight forward into the enemy lines! They will appreciate it and thank you for being such a wonderful Captain 🤣
One simple trick: Watch Flamuu play and not this guy.
Watch Potato Quality's video's?
I like your comments, but in my short experience, it seems strange to call that well-balanced mach since he barely had 1 million potential damage. I have more games with tier8 in tier 10 battles with my potential damage, which is usually close to 2 million. I conclude from this that he didn't get enough attention from the enemy like his teammates up until the end when there wasn't much enemy left. Second, he predominantly engaged 1 to 1 fighting, which maybe is his doing, like good positioning etc. but again, in my experience, it is more like luck of team play rather good positioning.
A
What is the trick ....click bait??????
Nah i dont wach Hae spamer game
What was the tip again??? Play Tier X French BB's ? Was that the tip? OR was the tip: Upload your ONCE in a MILLION Game replays to BAIT other players into thinking that they too can actually have similar outcomes while WG LMAO's at the SUCKER RATE.
WHY ISN'T THERE ANY TUTORIALS FOR THIS GAME THAT ARE NEWER THAN FUCKING 2 YEARS AGO??????? LITERALLY ALL I CAN FIND IS FUCKING WORLD OF WARSHIPS LEGENDS TUTORIALS AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT A STUPID MOBILE GAME
Clickbait title.
First 😄
These days, time passes by at warp speed. So fast that celebrating your achievement may seem insignificant. I want you to know how important it is to do that, celebrate. So let me start the celebrations by saying congratulations because you deserve it!
That 4 citadels on the RN cruiser is totally a statistical fluke.
Most of the times anone else would have gotten overpens
Same goes for the absurd fire chance this guy had, while resisting being set on fire
