I feel like Stoopzz is the best representation of the fun in the game. His excitement is always infectious, and I can definitely say there's been more than one point where I've thought "Eh, what's the point in logging in" only to hear one of Stoopzz's hyped bellows, and I stick around. If I didn't stick around, I'd have missed out on a lot of fun. Chat gives him shit, but the man knows how to have fun. Saintone and Stoopzz living under one roof is like having the brains and the heart of the game brought together, hah.
Watching your vid "mmo that respects your time" made me try playing lost ark. Fast forward today 9 classes at tier 3 (6 doing hard mode raids), still loving lost ark for better or worst and i can see myself playing at least a year more. Thanks stoopz!!!
I started following back in SL when you had the usual 200 viewers and man I have no Idea what but you did something huge since you swapped to LA. I tried my best to like the game and just couldn't but it was a blast seeing the huge popularity surge you got. I even remember some korean channels translating clips of your stream with subs Faker style man even if we only spoke twice on the PvP tutoring on the disc this was my best mmo anecdote for all of shadowlands KEKW.

I totally felt this video. We went clown blind in the first week and this is the type of experience that really forges you as a player. It makes the best friendships and embraces the climb. Sure thing it is easier with guides but this is why I want to play the game.
I was so excited about this game (first time in a decade), even bought platinum, but then the launch came and it was so disastrous it managed to kill all that hype outright. And so that platinum just sits there -_-
I'm so glad it found a found a home in the west. Even though I'm not an avid player I'm glad it found a solid base. I want an end to the whole "one mmo to rule." And a return to different MMOs for different types of players.

Gave up because doing PU stuff is nearly impossible and people without any skills will ask you to over-overgear bosses. We don't have discipline in EU / NA, so I'll sadly never return to this game despite waiting so much for it. But with a good guild/commu, this is a really good game !
Yup, Its been a while that I became heavily invested in mmo. Its sad cause none of my friends like mmo. They just play shooting game but Lost Ark was one of the rare mmo that doesnt require you to have 7 players that you know to run the DG or the content. I feel just as good when I complete a DG even if its not with friends but Public group. But Im also waiting for a new MMO. I spent about 1.7k on lost ark already and think I burned myself out lmfao

Now that I think about it, Lost Ark is no different from other MMOs except the surviving player base tend to be able to find a static group and stick around doing weekly Legion Raids.
1:13 that's why i love mmo, it's BY FAR the best games to build STRONG friendships... I have SOOOO MANY memories of people and moments i met because of MMO's, please Ashes of Creation i need u to be one of this, at least make something like Maplestory 2 did, an place to just be around, talking, joking and dancing, same with lost ark in the portals events, people was 10 minutes before just talking, and that's how i got ALWAYS the same people to do legendary map rotation

It's kinda sad to see all the content i'm losing and how behind i'll be if they ever fix this(Or when i change internet provider, which i won't do for a single game kek) Just wanted to bring a little bit more attention to it by venting here since i don't really see people bringing this up outside the main forum... I know i wont acomplish much but complaining here but just want you guys to know how much amazon is caring for a solid problem which is bothering for months. Better luck for you guys, have fun.
if some1 ask me that as me as a "pretty normal player" for some reason.. Im 1470 with 2 1380 alts (774 hrs of playtime), completely F2P and I considerer myself a casual player. I enjoy the game bc I feel if you like, well RPG's games cuz you like have things to do on a game and see an improvement of your dmg, character etc, great visuals events and things like that I feel that LOA fit that, but I kinda understand that people think this game its a soul consumming bc requiere a lot of time and maybe you dont expect to play this more of 5 yrs, but even with all the coments I still thinking LOA its fairly fun.
I actually played lost ark and gave it the benefit of the doubt a lot longer than I thought I would. A couple of thousands of hours in fact cleared both raids week one on their hard difficulties, the one thing that I wish I didn't lose would be the guild homies, but I burnt out and wasn't enjoying it anymore. I never liked a lot of things about the game and once there was this gap between boss releases those started to really make the game feel worse and it got boring and chore like. I might come back some day when it's near the KR version, hopefully the bots are really gone by then and I can link up with the guild homies again.
