- Well, you saw my Top 10 favorite episodes, now it's time to give them the Everything Right/Wrong treatment they deserve. On this installment, I remake an episode I did in the past, now with more Derpy love and even an explosion! What's the same? What's different? Find out and enjoy!

Interesting Fact: According to MA Larson, there was a deleted scene in this episode where Flash Sentry is talking to Cranky, and he asks him "why does no one like me?”
I would love to see the scene.
The very first draft of the script (wrote by Amy Keating Rogers, not Larson] had Octavia doing a "western face off" scene with King Sombra [context is for the weak].
The original "theme" for the episode was not a wedding but instead a "tour" of Ponyville (like the Simpsons _"22 Short Films About Springfield"_ ).

I have never seen this episode before, but I caught one thing while watching this video: How come Spike got into the wedding if the Mane Six didn't? Don't you think Twilight would make him stay there with her until she was ready to go? Also, this video is amazing! Good job!

If you remember not only were they at the grand galloping gala, Matilda had a room in canterlot castle. Which means she is most likely some kind of donkey royalty. This is helped by the fact that she was also in princess spike, and you would think maybe she was representing ponyville at the summit but mayor mare was there too. Also, this episode is where I suspected they were going to give Cadence a foal. I thought "hey what if he's crying because he just found out he's going to be a daddy??" A short while later flurry heart was announced. XD
Her voice is the one thing that jumps derpy up to number one on my MLP top ten list , then there's Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Vinyl Scratch followed by twilight , rarity , sunset shimmer, Trixie , Lyra heartstrings and last but not least cloud chaser

The fact that his two BIGGEST MLP crushes are on Derpy and Chrissy actually doesn't surprise me, those two are fan favorites, and that's because of Derpy's censorship and Chrysalis being the ONLY villain (except maybe Glim-Glam) to actually not be "evil" out of selfish reasons. She WAS a queen with a duty to feed her hive and as a species that "feeds only off of love by replacing someone and feeding off the love for them" she just was doing what comes naturally as a changeling. She was not being selfish at all like any of the other villains. I'll even repeat each explanation for the villains' plots.
Nightmare Moon: You really expect me to sit idly while they all bask in YOUR precious light?! There's only room for ONE princess! And that princess will be ME!
Trixie Lulamoon: The things I've done? I did them because I was jealous of Twilight! She's just the best at everything and I wanted to beat her at SOMETHING!
Discord: I'm not playing fair? Perhaps we haven't met. I'm Discord, the spirit of chaos and disharmony. Hello?
King Sombra: MYY CRYYYSTAL SSSLAAVES!!" "CRYYSTAAALSSS!!!!

Discord's insult at Tirek: You're right, cretin is too polite, how 'bout pathetic-centaur-who-uses-magic-to-compensate-for-the-fact-that-deep-down -he's-afraid-he'll-never-be-enough-to-please-dear-old-dad-King-Vorak.
Glim-Glam: I gave these ponies real friendships they never could've had otherwise!" "Sunburst and I did everything together. In fact, I don't remember us ever being apart. Until today. And just like that, my friend was gone. His family recognized his magical talent and sent him off to Canterlot. I never saw him again. (Spike: Why not?) Because of his cutie mark! He got his, and I didn't! He moved on, and I didn't! I stayed here and never made another friend because I was too afraid another cutie mark would take them away, too!
Cozy Glow: You ponies got it ALL wrong! Friendship isn't Magic! Friendship is power! You might be the Princess of Friendship, but as headmare of this school, I can collect even more friends than you!
Grogar...uh...didn't really explain as it was Discord, but Discord (as Grogar), Sombra, and Tirek gave Cozy Glow a bit of a History lesson on who the real Grogar was...
Lord Tirek: Grogar is ancient and extremely powerful. The land that would become Equestria was a mere collection of farms and pastures until he declared himself emperor of all he saw. I remember hearing tales of his tyranny when I was young.
King Sombra: I have also heard of the first Emperor of Equestria. The "Father of Monsters".
Grogar (Discord): I gave life to the foulest of creatures and allowed them to run wild, taking what they wanted and destroying the rest. My reign was a glorious, fear-soaked epoch of darkness in Equestria.
And finally...
Queen Chrysalis (I'll do her whole conversation with Glim-Glam, so stand by while we tragically see a queen lose her kingdom...and children)
Queen Chrysalis: Very clever. And clearly Thorax revealed to you the secret of my throne. I can't have powerful ponies using their abilities against me. Even with your rather embarrassing little rescue attempt, everything has gone according to my plan.
Starlight Glimmer: What plan? Why did you do all this?!
Queen Chrysalis: So I could feed, of course! By replacing the most beloved figures in Equestria, my drones will be able to store all the love meant for them and return it here to me. Everypony will do as I command, and my subjects and I will feed on their love for generations!
Starlight Glimmer: What if you didn't have to?
Queen Chrysalis: Ridiculous! The hunger of changelings can never be satisfied!
Starlight Glimmer: Exactly! Thorax left the hive and made a friend. He shared love, and now he doesn't need to feed. You don't have to live your lives starving all the time!
Queen Chrysalis: You know nothing of the changelings or what it takes to be their queen! I decide what is best for my subjects, not some mewling grub!
Starlight Glimmer: I know what it's like to lead by fear and intimidation! And I know what it's like to want everypony to do what you say! But I was wrong. A real leader doesn't force her subjects to deny who they are! She celebrates what makes them unique and listens when one of them finds a better way!
Queen Chrysalis: The only thing Thorax has found is what happens to those who turn their back on the hive!
Starlight Glimmer: No! Stop!
Queen Chrysalis: Just as soon as I drain every last ounce of love from him and show my subjects what a real leader is!
Thorax: I can feel the love inside me slipping away...! I can't hold onto it much longer...!
Starlight Glimmer: Then don't! Sharing love is what made you different to begin with! You should share yours with Chrysalis! Give her all of it!
Starlight Glimmer: This is what happens when you give love freely instead of taking it!
(standby due to extra dialog)
Starlight Glimmer: When Twilight and her friends defeated me, I chose to run away and seek revenge! You don't have to! You can be the leader your subjects deserve.
Queen Chrysalis: There is no revenge you could ever conceive of that will come close to what I will exact upon you one day, Starlight Glimmer!
(Chrysalis flees)
Princess Celestia: Thorax, as the new leader of the changelings, I look forward to discussing how we can improve our relationship in the future.
(resuming from before the claims)
So, as you see Chrysalis was the only villain who had a REAL reason for her actions. She had a kingdom to lead and a culture to uphold because Thorax is the real villain here as he completely ABOLISHED their changeling culture in favor of mimicking pony culture down to pony holidays and traditions that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Changelings as Hearth's Warming is about the three PONY tribes and the windigoes! I'm a huge Chrysalis fan and my favorite brony RUclipsr has already made videos on reforming the villains, and Chrysalis was the first one he did as he has a changeling OC.

Chrysalis' motives for what she did was understandable, but Glimmer had a point. Since Thorax didn't need to feed on love after he made a friend, doesn't that mean making friends with the ponies so the changelings are no longer hungry all the time better?

Ok, never saw that before with the Saltlick machine...
Now, let me share with you a little silly theory with you. Back in Season 1 when we are first introduced to Apploosa, we see a Saloon called the Salt Block. Pony gets kicked out as we hear "That's enough salt for you." The guest acts in a drunk way.
Now, looking at the Cider episode, as far as we can tell all that is being done to make apple cider is pulverizing apples under a millstone. So what is it that makes it, well, "different" from apple juice? Secret herbs hiding in the basin? Possibly. But what if, to make it "hard cider", the secret ingredient is actually that millstone? A giant block of salt. So let us consider for a moment that horse anatomy reacts to salt like a human would react to fermentation. Did this kid just get subjected to "alcohol"? :hyperthonk:

4:21 This actually creates a plot hole with Winter Wrap Up though as back then no one was really aware of Twilight's skills and if Ameythest was really as good at organizing as she claims then Winter Wrap Up wouldn't have been such a hot mess that year. My headcanon as I explained in a comic I made is that as Dinky's sister and Derpy's daughter, she travels with Doctor Hooves (this was before Brotherhooves Social basically debunked the idea that all the participants were sisters mind) so she keeps missing Winter Wrap Up and they have an auton take her place but it screws things up every time, leading to Twilight taking her job.
Well, the mayor was in charge of organizing winter wrap up... sure Twilight stepped up when she found out it was a mess, but she had the authority to do so because she's the princess's prize pupil. Your average organizer wouldn't have the authority to over rule the mayor
@@forestgrump4723 I don't think you quite understand how a IDW Transformers functionist style society works. (I mean granted this one's a lot less authoritarian than the one in the IDW Transformers comic, that one one is more like Soviet Russia, this one is a more idealized version)
@@mattwo7 Transformers is not My Little Pony... and I do not watch Transformers, so no I have no idea how their society works. I do however know that most societies do not allow the average citizen to challenge the local mayor.
My point is that the if the Mayor would defer to the pony who is best at organizing because she is the best at organizing. There's no reason to assume she wouldn't just because she has a higher authority, I mean, just look at Celestia, she keeps relying on Twilight and her friends.
@@mattwo7 It's just as easy to say the mayor would not defer to anypony else because she would see it as her responsibility and would have an inflated sense of pride about such a large event. Just because Celestia has n problem deferring doesn't mean everyone else is the same.
