I saw an old dude catch a 60 lb Chinook off the Argonaught wharf in Campbell River when I was a kid with a big pink buzz bomb.....Craziest thing I've ever witnessed while fishing.....lol
Some people put a bead on top of buzz bomb another hook, anothe person ties 3, 4 inch piece of Florescent yarn on the line just alittle ahead of the buzzbomb as it rocks and spins on DESENT, THAT YARN Waves back and forth in a angled, semi vertical position, possibly giving the allusion of another bait fish following the buzz bomb bait fish . Give it a try, just a piece long enough not to tangle with rear hook.
I caught a 25lb. Spring of the rocks with the old man cast of about 20 yds with the 4" pink Pearl Buzz Bomb. My young man cast's were going way past the fish as they come close to the point. Anyways I was using 12lb. line and was just playing it and a sea lion came to the surface with my fish looking like a dog with a bone. All the boats had moved away as at first it was jumping and they gave me room. I started yelling and screaming and loosened my drag. I had 300yds. of line which went out pretty fast. Tightening the drag before the end so the spool knot didn't get the full force of the run. The line streached a lot but held. I'd recommend a heavier line up to 60lb.test which a friend of mine used of the rocks to great success. That doesn't make much sense I know but he sure caught a lot of Salmon go figure.
I didn’t realize Buzzbombs were made in Canada. This has been my favorite lure since 1981.
Awesome. I love this product
