Thanks, Chris, for taking us on with you on this show. Most of the vw were sold for reasonable prices. It's very encouraging to see that there is still some bargain.

Why are the split-window buses marked as 1970s models? Am I missing something?
A chopped up 70 shouldnt bring more than stock 67 they paid 10-20% more than that at checkout with buyers premium not sure what barret jackson uses. Not sure it good if your looking but wont hurt selling 😂

I can't believe a THING sold for $36K. Everyone laughed at them in the 70's. Who's laughing now? (No offense to THING owners, I like all VWs) @7:35 Snap! Haha that was funny. 😄
I paid $2880 in 1973 for a new yellow Thing.

Wow interesting. Looks like Brazil-Jackson. I don't take issue with the vehicles, but I think some casual/naive buyers are getting kind of had by these vehicles a bit. In fact, I've spoken with a few...
Most of the VWs were awful! I can't believe someone paid all that money for that gross '70 Beetle - the burnt orange disaster. I very much liked the orange Thing and someone got a good deal on that for $18K, but someone sure gotten taken to the bank paying $36K for the blue Thing - a fool is soon parted with his money, as the saying goes. The 1970 Ghia was also very nice and worth more than the $20K that it sold for.
Disturbed by the number of “re-creation” vehicles in the mix, I don’t think that helps our Hobby, as they are not real values, and people are mis lead on what real cars are worth. If there are so few real cars and configurations out there, so be it. You don’t see 100 , LS6 70 Chevelle’s out there, because there are so many base convertibles either! Doesn’t seem fair there a high volume of run of the mill VW’s to modify and fake.. We work hard to find real rare gems, and restore them back to glory……

Yep not german either recreation the one said basically it was built from scratch 😂 real 23s were hit 200k years ago. Once i got rolex in vegas the little walkway bridge by circus circus under it nice fella 👍
