This is helpful but I'd love to see you go on and split it. We often get customers sending us parts they shape in clay or by hand then 3D scan and send us the files. Then I have to find split lines and actually split the part into two halves so we can make room inside for 1.) electronics and 2.) even wall thicknesses for injection molding. Sometimes I find myself attempting to start over and both halves manually in Solidworks - very time consuming.
THank you! I always used the parting line feature, but this achieves the exact same thing without adding other stuff! Great!
