- The Hummer name makes a return but in a different way for 2022. On the outside you will find all LED lighting, off-road wheels/tires, removable roof panels and multi-position tailgate. On the inside there is a ton of tech, and great materials. Powering the Hummer EV are (3) electric motors. Is the 2022 GMC Hummer the KING of all performance trucks?

You deep dive into the details of the truck without the stupid snarky patronizing comments from a lot of the other auto reviewers. Good job to you and Lori putting the work in and keeping it real. We just want honest to goodness reviews without the snide remarks. Gonna watch this review again!

I totally agree! With the exception of some...plenty of "auto reviewers " are so annoying with their damn snarky comments. Like just review the damn car.
Saw one of these go by as I was walking a while back - they are huge! To think it's got that kind of power and performance is crazy.
Massive beast!! Im glad Hummer is still around in some way. In Trinidad there was a yellow Hummer that you'd see on rare occassions. So beautiful, and yet menacing.

Yet history seems to be repeating itself. The Hummer H2 was the least fuel efficient vehicle you could buy back then. Now the Hummer EV is the least efficient EV you can buy. The Hummer EV emits more CO2 than a gas powered Chevy Malibu. You might ask how? Fully electric vehicles with no gasoline engine (which we will refer to as EVs) get their power from the electric grid. And in the United States, about 60% of electricity is generated by burning fossil fuels. Until the grid is completely carbon-free, there will be emissions from generating the electricity to run EVs, known as upstream emissions.
The carbon footprint for this EV suv is insane. Anyone who is truly green needs to keep this vehicle 15 years to make it carbon neutral.
The batteries are huge. The amount of energy required to make this vehicle is unbelievable.

The fact that this thing has 1000hp and is 9000 pounds is insane.also since it does 0 -60 in like 3 seconds as crazy as well. When it comes to my spec, it whould be in red or all black .

The performance is amazing considering how big and heavy it is. I personally would go for the Rivian pick up just because of the size, I think this is huge for the streets.

This might be the first ev I might consider buying I used to have H2 suv but it was to big for me to drive everyday and I had a new born back then as well but dynamite review as usual Joe and Lori excellent job thank you so much for your consistency

Being an EV it has 4 times the efficiency vs a normal gas engine Hummer. Very cheap to charge at home (~$15).
Increasingly these will be charged with zero emission power which is ramping up each year.

It’s nice but just try and charge it,it takes days to charge and the amount of electricity used is amazing this came from someone who has one , Joe if you had the money for a big toy it’s fine but not for a regular vehicle no normal person goes to work three days a week and leaves enough for charging for four and in winter up north I’d imagine the electric use would be higher .

Much of History General Motors I was a have a Pontiac G6 and then I just run up for like 6 years
to be honest that’s too much weight with a great deal of responsibility.

My favorite part about this vehicle is when it randomly dies and glitches out, leaving you stranded in the middle of the road during busy traffic JUST like TFL's hummer EV did.

I'm sure the crab-walk will go the way of the Dodo bird ... a similar example from the past ... can't recall the exact year ....but one year the Honda Prelude introduced "4WS" (Four Wheel Steering) and once the novelty wore off, nobody really cared (or wanted it)... never to be seen again ...too much complexity for the added benefit ... BRO every SUV video i'm here to complain about the non cooled 2nd row seats...can you think of any that do have them, other than the Palisade? tell you what though, having a new GMC Truck, that space between the seat buckle insert and the center console is absolutely awful if you lose anything down there hahaha
