I want to see a real big move, Drury is making space. Maybe its after the playoffs and he is looking to next season, but we need that real heavy hitter on offense and defense that will make a difference for years. No patch work.
The next 5 games are all very winnable, if we can grab at least 8 points out them I for sure expect Drury to make a move and push for that early playoff exit.
Not really, Philly has a talented roster and usually play against the Rangers hard. The Blue Jackets have been playing really good hockey the past 12 games. Montreal has turned there season around too. They've been winning a lot the past month. I can easily see the Rangers going 1-4 or, 2-3 during that 5 game stretch. Ottawa plays physical hockey and we know the Rangers don't match up well against those kind of teams. If anything, this 5 game stretch if they play poorly, will completely de-rail whatever momentum this team has going for them.
@delsanravelvetheart4365 if they play like they played vs Vegas and Colorado i don't think Philly, Columbus or ottowa should be losses we all know this team isn't as bad as they were playing but nowhere near as good as think they are , at our best were better than the next 5 teams in my opinion. But this is the season right here if we get the Colorado game like 1and 4 over these games were done.

does anyone not remember how Jt Miller used to be on the team and was let go because he kept causing problems in the room? sure he might be good when times are good but when times are bad then he turns into a toxic nightmare. exactly what the Rangers need right now
The Canucks are not shopping Milsy or Petey, they are just taking calls to improve the team. Most likely the only player to move is Brock Boeser at the trade dead line or earlier.
Not sold on J.T. Miller being the solution to Rangers troubles - or confident in the Rangers making good trades. Alyssa Hope repeatedly lists him here on RUclips as a "Locker Room Cancer". The Rangers HAD Miller and traded him away - take a look back to see what a total disaster that trade was. Petterson would be far better - just never imagine any team will trade their stars for our underperformers. The guys most likely to leave in a trade are NOT our problem children. Wonder if anyone is exploring adding the Flyers defenseman Ristolainen?
The Rangers and Flyers haven't traded with each other in a long time. I doubt since there so close together in the standings, they make a trade with each other. Trades with teams in the same division is rare in general. Since they don't want to be responsible for improving a team within there own division.
@@delsanravelvetheart4365 All true. Yet with both teams on the knife's edge of making the playoffs, a mutually beneficial trade is conceivable. A larger defenseman would help the Rangers, while a piece or two might boost the Flyers into contention.
@@marcjohnson2610 Fair point but I just don't see it happening. You are one hundred percent right though, the Rangers need to get bigger and more physical on the blueline, instead of having all offensive minded defensemen or, undersized D-Men. When the Rangers won there cup during the 93-94 season. They had Zubov and Leetch as the offensive defensemen. While they also had players like Beukeboom and even the two offensive defensemen were at the very least, 6 feet and didn't get overpowered by forwards. Rangers current defense is small, weak, easy to knock off the puck and aren't solid defensively. Other then Schneider. Not counting the newer D-man in that category just yet. Borgen's could play himself into a contract extension if he keeps playing the way he has.
I know you’re not high on Borgen but they’ve been playing better defensively because he’s better than Trouba ! Mika has declined badly which I hope is just a faze. Need continuity stop tinkering

7 at least and I can see that happening because there playing as a underdog 😉

I don’t remember seeing you in that locker room weird, maybe just sit back and be a fan bud
Didn't he get into an argument with Lundqvist and then got traded correct?
This team loves destroying any chemistry it develops, JT is a real good player yet they want to trade him?
Totally agree🏒🥅
We need Brady TKACHUCK! That ain't happening now
Rangers have nothing to trade to Canucks

Not surprising. It seems like every year Brock Boeser name gets floated around in the NHL rumor mill.

We don’t need another soft guy like Peterson
No more Super Soft Swedish Sissies.
