Hi Alexandra. I love your analytical mind. I have mid brown to light brown eye and I found myself doing the opposite of the look you created : correting the pigmentation in the top lid to give me a refreshed look and prefering matte blurred lips to contrast with the transparency of the brown of my eyes and give me more colour. Yet your logic works still i just reversed the light vs dark, opaque versus transparency techniques. Lots of love and you look gorgeous xxx
Love this look! It's a very simple and classic look. You make applying makeup look so easy. Even though I've been using makeup for many years now, I still have not developed the technique to applying foundation and concealer in a way that looks natural.
omg I Love this! I always work backwards, in fact I always start with either eyes, or lips, and then by the time I'm done with them, my face doesn't need anything else. I even remember you saying this in your other video, that people get coverage from their blush too, meaning, they need way less foundation. I feel like it's so true, because once you have your eyes, lips and blush done, your face looks way less "bare" and your skin looks much better because all the focus goes into your eyes/lips. I don't use foundation or even concealer (even though my skin is not perfect) because of that trick

🎀I have dark brown eyes and used to wear grey circle lenses for years. Until they began affecting my eye sight from wearing them so frequency and so, I had to learn to love my brown eyes. By finding eyeshadows which enhance them.🎀

Something retro about this look reminds me of Betty Boop, I think it's the spidery eyelashes making the eyes look rounder. I remember another YTber who did an impressive Betty Boop look but she nailed everything except the eyelashes, and these would have been it!
