    I am convinced beyond a iota of doubt that everyone in Wales has a beautiful voice. No doubt the largest national group that will sing in God's heavenly choir will be Welsh. An admirer from Iowa.

      I lived in North Wales for 10 months. A good friend was a member of his town's Male Voice Choir. The concerts were fabulous. I also had the chance to hear 1000 Male voices sing in Royal Albert Hall. I have loved Welsh music ever sonce.

      Pray for Wales, I visited Cardiff last week (South Wales) and found almost no person to speak the language and what is worse: a beautiful church called "Corner Stone" is being used for business-events and not anymore for worship.
      Pray for the university of Cardiff, where people from allover the world are in! .... REVIVAL, spiritual awakening towards Christ, may start there. Even if there are only a few, God can move again like 1904/1905 or mightier.
      Send your HOLY SPIRIT, LORD, and move again in a mighty way, in Jesus Name, Amen! (from Switzerland)

    Oh my Lord. Im a welsh woman whose grandad was in a choir. This is such a huge part of my life. We used to play in the schools playground when they rehearsed. At grandad's funeral his mates stood at the back of the crew and sang. The whole family were in tears. I really believe if I were not born into this tradition and love I would not have become a real Christian. Im actually crying now.

      Yes, and men only. It's just a fact they're magical together. Sorry, ladies, but women's voices wreck the beauty. They just do. It is SO hard to find men-only choirs. It is glorious. Manly men doing yet another manly thing. I love it!

    Just yesterday I heard Welch choral music for the first time in a television program called Midsummer Murders and I was immediately captured by this gorgeous sound and the breathtaking views of Wales, of which I had no prior knowledge. Even now at age 86 I am learning wonderful new things about our World..

    There are moments in my life that will forgotten in time, these little events are so tiny to the cosmos so as not even exist. But to me they are as precious as any jewel or rare metal, as priceless as any painting. They are a treasure of the heart, this is superb. There is nothing better than a full voice choir.
    Wales, your language is bonkers, but your voice is one the whole world knows as the best. Pair your voices with the mining brass bands of Yorkshire......the world will feel it

    There is something particularly beautiful and wonderful to both the eyes and the ears about a room full of only MEN all singing together. I search for men-only choirs, and the Welsh ones are a treasure to find! While an auditorium is designed to maximize and compliment sound, I also like to envision what they'd sound and look like walking through a forest. The trees, and all of of the forest would be joyful witnesses...

    Fire the director/conductor! I want my Welsh Choirs untamed... and not Englishified. A tamed lion is not what a lion is all about. You've lost what made you both great and unique in the first place. Or have you forgotten "A Nation Sings"?

    • @Ddeuddeg12
      @Ddeuddeg12 4 года назад

      I haven't forgotten. I had those sets of hymns from the 60s on vinyl, back before it became fashionable again, and you could afford it. I had the benefit of growing up with grandparents who would let me tag along to the song festivals that were so popular in the Western NY/Southern Ontario area back then. It's how I learned to sing. You couldn't be more correct: untamed is the best.
