If its Overheating it could be other things wrong tho. Such as Radiator Cap, Thermostat, no Coolant,a leak or possible rust in the system
Hit us up on Instagram @cityliferides if u need any further help 🤙🏽💯

Should you be using distilled water?

just to flush it a few times I wouldn't bother, but distilled or even purified RO water with minerals removed is best.

Hey bro just saw the clip now and I subscribed, I dn't know if you're still active and if you still using tap water, use distilled water or rain water, tap water has chemicals that will make you antifreeze not to do it's job👍👍👍

Nobody wants to sit thru long intros or superfluous junk. That's not dirt or mud coming out but a ton of rust like it was run on tap water since 1999. Soaking reservoir (NOT radiator) with lime away or a scale and rust remover would clean plastic well. I'd have used a stick if nothing else to loosen crud. There's no grease in a normal radiator either. If water looks that rusty & cloudy, repeat til it's clear. It might take a couple days to clear out. U might want to open valve and leaving hose run into top. Then u can add a flush product and follow directions to get the last of debris and rust out. With a 1 liter bottle of undiluted coolant, empty into radiator, then fill bottle with distilled or purified water and add that. Simple. You're making too much extra work and final rinse was still horrible. Music is way too loud and distracting. Feels like punishment.

True, my knowledge of what I was doing wasn't as good as what i know now, and yes, you're right about all the steps needed to do a proper flush. However, it still doesn't give you a right to criticize someone's effort , I'd like to see your judgemental ass do the same video and see how much of work and effort it takes to do these things. At least I'm giving a basic idea of what needs to be done and trying to help people , unlike you ! So next time, keep your comments to yourself because nobody asked for it, and nobody asked you to watch the video either way.

@cityliferides4295 You did great, bro. I don't necessarily believe he was intentionally attacking your methods and production of the video but rather adding his knowledge and possibly correcting you... for which I say "possibly" as I don't believe you were wrong.
I was able to get a basic understanding of what you were attempting to explain and learned enough to where I am much more comfortable with proceeding to perform my own flush.
My question to you is, what kind of coolant did you use? That was a critical part you missed out on showing. I literally just spent FOUR hours running to every local store that sold coolant in search of a proper coolant that is green (which is what was in my 98 Honda Civic Hatchback) only to find coolants that are BLUE for Hondas. That being said, went down a rabbit hole of trying to figure out why there arent any coolants specifically for Hondas that are green.
WHAT kind of coolant did you use!? I ended up settling with Prestone 50/50 for all vehicles as I heard and seen the SDS Data sheets showing that the ingredients between that coolant and Honda Genuine Type 2 coolant is basically the same besides Hondas additional additive to help prevent animals from being attractive towards it.
      Thanks in advance!

@electrickrypt8027 Thanks bro I appreciate it , I guess the coolant type depends and varies on the climate of the area you in , I also used a 50/50 mix due to our hectic weather changes in South Africa , never heard of blue coolant before but I'd your local parts store recommended it then it should be fine to use 🙌 .I wish you and the family a Merry Christmas 🎅🎄and a Happy New Year🥳🍾 Enjoy🙌🏽
