I installed a bunch of these in a Diesel Shop. Even being 15 feet above our heads those things put out some heat.

I have 26 x 30 pole barn 12 ft ceiling would tube heater be better placed in the center of the ceiling or would you still mount close to wall?

Probably pretty efficient too if shop is insulated well. Also, no issues with condensation since off gases are vented outside. Would this be dangerous for a wood shop and sawdust? Thanks!

Ya they work great if well insulated. The vent is graded to the outside so if any condensation happens it goes out side. Should be fine for a wood shop but you may want to look into that. I don’t know for sure. Don’t see any issue. Probably better then forced air cause then you’re not blowing all the dust around.

@@ThePlumbingGurus Exactly. And I'm not a real serious wood shop. Just some occasional stuff but there definitely will be saw dust flying. Maybe if I keep the wood cutting at the opposite end of the shop. Hey thanks for the quick response and keep on plumbin!

I would like to put one in my shop. Any recommendations for a 25' x 25' shop with a 10' ceiling? I'd also like to have hot water too.

It will depend on where you are. I would just google it and find who sells them. Most plumbing wholesales will sell them.
