Levi no revive a Erwin porque él haya muerto de forma heroica y que era su último deseo. Levi recuerda que Erwin le dice que era egoísta todo este tiempo, que solo quiere demostrar que su papá tiene razón. Por eso se muestra el fragmento donde Levi le pregunta “qué harás después de que sepas qué hay en ese sótano?” Y Erwin le dice “no lo sé, y no quiero pensar en eso”, lo cual es ilógico para alguien como Erwin no seguir planeando. Es porque Erwin iba a sentirse satisfecho sabiendo lo del sótano y ahí quedaría el “egoísmo de Erwin”, su sueño y motivación estarían cumplidos. Por otro lado, el sueño de Armin es más puro, es un sueño de curiosidad y libertad. Es por eso que Levi elige a Armin, porque se da cuenta que Erwin no los llevaría más lejos que eso.

Si observas de cerca, Erwin básicamente le dice a Levi que no le dé la oportunidad, por lo que Levi respeta los deseos del comandante. No fue un hecho que Levi eligiera, sino el hecho de que Erwin eligió morir. También soy inglés, acabo de escribir esto en traducir jajaja.
