I think max might have autism.. I have a child with severe autism. He also has absence seizures where he stops breathing during the seizure. There is a link between children with autism and seizures. Just wanted to share that information.

Max's Mom made me cringe. I kept thinking about Grey Gardens, little Edie and Big Edie. How the daughter's life was ruined by the Mom's overbearing insistence that kept her always by her side. No life of her own at all. I can only hope someone steps in and helps that little boy toward a more normal life. He may even be suffering from Munchausen syndrome.

Are you a pediatrician? All children develop at a different rate. Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with people that make these asinine comments.
