Thanks brother. I habe this same laptop and am having issues with games like Last of Us, Grey Zone .... Was looking to upgrade to 32gb ram and 1tb ssd. Did you notice a big difference in gaming quality? Thanks again. Perfect video at ghe perfect time.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the video came at the right time for you. Best of luck with your upgrade-you're going to love the boost in performance!
Mines upgraded to the max! I put two 1TB SSD 40GB Ram and added a 90Wh battery that now lasts about 6 hours in windows mode with power efficiency setting’s and 3 hours on turbo mode I’m loving it my gpu is only the 2050 Nvidia RTX but my games run fine I can pull about 135 FPS but I have noticed on fortnight it’s gotten up to 155 FPS. I’m just wondering how much my laptop is worth with all the upgrades?
I have a question. I upgraded the SSD by doing the same process. I noticed whenever I disconnect and reconnect the battery of my tuf f15 fx507 for the first time it does not boot up from battery power. In other words I have to plug the AC adapter whenever I disconnect/connect the battery. Any idea about why it is like that? After the first booting up I can turn off/on and restart using the battery. I checked my battery health and it is still %100 (new laptop) also I ran the system checkup and got 0 errors.
I had this problem just. I was very stressed thinking I'd broken something but it worked after I plugged it in and now will boot on battery. Maybe it knows when the battery has been unplugged and it's a precaution of some kind.
If using multiple sticks you want them to be matched pairs for best performance. So either two 8 or two 16gb of the same speed and preferably bought as a matched pair. You can mix up your storage drives but not your ram.

I have a stupid question, what is the point with the black paper ? I got a TUF recently and there was this black paper as well as aluminum foil on the hard drive and ram. Do you know what it's for ?
You can make your own mega batteries if you have a remote need. The power input of the charger is DC. The values are written on the charger. Use LifePO4 cells and a voltage regulator. Wire a BMS into the cells and add a GX 16 port to the cells so you can balance with a charger or charger with a the appropriate voltage through the bms. This negates the need to change the device battery. You can also use this to output to 12 and 5 V and supply power to all sorts of fun things like router and starlink
I have the same laptop but I am currently using PCIe Gen 3 SSD and im not sure if it supports Gen 4 SSD or not, Im planning to buy 1TB SSD but mostly all of the 1Tb SSDs are Gen 4. Will a Gen 4 SSD work on this laptop?. Ive heard people saying that it does but im not really sure

Yes it can. I use a second larger drive and partition it to act as two separate drives. I use one half to take a mirror of my primary drive. That way if any updates happen or windows problems happen I just roll back and lose a few days… I then use the other half for all my external storage. You can buy m.2 caddies with usb c port and then get another of your larger drive and install the same drive and back up your larger drive. The cost of doing this is insurance against the time and energy fixing or losing data and time.
I check on the official website of asus... They didn't mention the max storage device. but you can try with the 2gb nvme. its a matter of trial and error.

For ram is Crucial a good brand to use? Also with ssd is western digital a good choice? Thanks again.
Yes, absolutely... One of the leading brand and very reliable
Thanks for video. What is the type of the additional SSD: M-Key or B-Key?
Which size was the screwdriver you used to unscrew the SSD screw?
hey sorry, I have this laptop (the one with a 4050). for the m.2 I need a pci4 or a pci3x4 ?
Hi is it necessary to remove battery connection while upgrade the SSD storage or not?🐥
Its depend on the technician... some no need and some they will disconnect it... but most of them they recommend to disconnect it

It makes it safer, but as long as you fully power down the laptop, you should be fine.
