This allows him to use many skills that are age appropriate and I encourage it because children need space to be children. Moreover, taking “responsibility for breaking things” can be an approach (which in curious how you mean it should be executed?), but showing them how to use things and how to interact with things it’s a more notable approach for us in our home. He is at an age where exploring, touching, feeling, interacting, appreciating colors and textures, expressing wants and needs with cues and words is more of a priority for his developmental stage. Taking responsibility comes later on.
