Excellent and balanced review. I recently acquired an overbuilt folder and liked it. After seeing this review covering basic Medford models, I am coming on board too ! Thank you.
So you’re the famous guy who supposedly carries a Preatorian in his basketball shorts. So many other knive guys on RUclips have talked about you, good to have found your channel.
Thanks for the video. I have a lot of knives. I just got my tenth Medford. Some of them won't ever cut anything but a nice steak. I guess I'm crazy that way. But for me it's just a good feeling to have a Medford in my pocket . I use my other knives to cut things. Nice video
I get where you're coming from. I used to collect custom flippers too. I purchased a Proxima as my first Medford. Any of my other knives feel like delicate toys by comparison. I want to get a Praetorian T next.
Very nice but I can buy a high quality knife and a gun for $600....different strokes I guess. Saw it on a site and was in shock when I saw price. Thanks for explaining the why's/ins and outs of this very attractive and quality knife. Enjoy your knives. Thanks again.
talking about `weight` our brain in combination with muscle tricks us, when I was in theatre assisting a surgeon with an above the knee amputation, he said "ever felt the weight of a leg, well I said " I have two, so yes?" get a yellow bag he said ...hold it open... and he dropped it in and damn limbs are heavy, trust me, anyway back to the video, great tools.
😅 not really... totally different things the 12 Oz in a can of coke are fluid ounces that measure volume/space and the 12 Oz of the knife are for actual weight measurement not volume, these are different measurements it is not the same!
When I made this video it was $550 on the medford website. I think that they just raised it back but upgraded the steel to s35v. I know that Plaza Cutlery lowered their prices to match but I think sold out when medford raised their prices back. Sorry for the inaccurate info as you are correct, it looks like they are $600 now.
D2 is amazing blade steel and always will be! It's all about the heat treat man and if u pay up for a knife and like it then put a drop of oil on it lol! Problem solved! So yeah i agree D2 is good stuff
The Ti clip is too flimsy and doesn't secure the knife in the pocket when compared to the popsicle clip. For the weight/mass, the Ti clip needs more tension force against the spring side.
Miyamoto Clan the popsicle clip is very stiff. If you hang upside down or similar and the tension is set hard it’s your best bet. I prefer the new clips and haven’t had a problem with pocket retention. Thanks
How many Praetorian Ti (the thickest one) do you have? And would you be interested in selling one? We can use paypal and get signature confirmation and insurance, that way it is safe for both of us.
Thanks for this video even 3 years later. I am trying to choose my next Praetorian stuck between the T and TI, gonna get the TI now.

My wife and me just found you and really like the way you speak and how your reviews go, great vid!!

I have three now and I live in England and that in itself is a challenge. Anyway I love them.
Worth every cent, owner and user of Praetorian Scout.
Great information on these knifes.
Wow that Vulcan blade is beautiful

"I'm not a knife collector" while looking a few few thousand dollars of pocket knives on the table.
🤣🤣 I said the same thing! He said he wasn't a collector but showed 6 knives in this video that are over $350 each.
Medford is the MOST exciting folder co! I will have one in 2019

The Proxima is my first and hopefully not the last Medford!
Super thank you. For every day Carrie and regular cutting task which one would you recommend money no object?
Do you carry the Ti in your shorts pocket or waist??
Happen to have a TI for sale?
I apsoulutly love your channel man

Buy both
I want a Genesis in 3V! I think they’re are worth the money. Their manufacturing process is not cheap.
so does the new clip go in and out of jeans easier then the old clip?
jeremy boon oh yes. The popsicle clip was very strong, but much harder to articulate.

I am looking for a video where a person actually use the knives and show what they can do.
Thanks.
Praetorian Ti weighs 12 oz. That's the same weight as a full can of Coca Cola. In your pocket. LOL!

Everywhere I look I see the micro Pretorian G for $600. Where have you seen the Micro ti for $550?

You are a sucker paying $600 for a G....You can find NIB for 4-500 all day...You won’t be the first owner but what does that matter

I really don't give a damn about weight in my pockets
The vulcan finish on your T is beautiful.
Would you be interested in selling it?

He sounds like Vince Vaughn haha
Nike needs to start making tactical Nike shorts for you. Problem solved
Strange knives
Speak up!!!
I know that they're big knives and that's a lot of steel and titanium, but in my opinion they are way overpriced.
From t to ti is most crazy 500 more for 3 oz
Thanks
