Much better than I was expecting, lots of potential in those guys. I like how it ends on a somber note and every time I was anticipating a jump-scare it didn't come. The story felt a bit Edgar Allen Poe-ish to me. Might have said early Lovecraft but could you imagine him making a story about a lost love? Also, is it just me or are bottles becoming the new toilets for CJU's videos? :D
I really enjoyed this. Refreshingly well-written and well-voiced, nice art and sound design, increasingly creepy atmosphere...I hope they got top marks for this. I'd love to see more from these devs in the future. 👍
What I am going to say is completely unrelatable to your comment but you remind me of Lorelai (the main character of the game Lorelai) And I mean it in a good way of course 💗💗💗💗
Literally better than many of the games on your channel, even now in 2024, than those made by professional developers and independent studios. That's the real horror.
I wonder if the developers referenced the game Scratches a little bit ( the excursion, the mask, and the madness ,...) really impressive, and I wish they'd do more !!thanks chris...always look forward to you eclectic videos...
I love your channel so much. Your voice is soothing and makes even the most crap games interesting. I love the chuckle and the "right...." lol. You, John wolfe, MrKravin, and alpha beta gamer are my favorites.
What I find silly in these games is that it's somehow obvious that the protagonists are behind it. You don't even have to elaborate a whole theory about it, just go with your guts, and the game will prove you're not wrong.
As far as I know the white star line never had a ship called the 'Numidian' The name seems to refer to an ancient Berber kingdom that was located in north africa. A very talented dev team indeed, that was very polished for only 2 months of work, though it looked like your PC was chugging a bit with the FPS at times. Thanks for showing us this one! Edit: My computer was in power save mode which is why the FPS was bad. Whoops lol
So what was the Twist in that "its P.T. with a twist." Cause all I saw was the exact same P.T. experience that we been seeing most horror devs been doing these past few years. Don't get me wrong this isn't a bad game at all and pretty well done for a school project, but again a lot of people are getting sick of these P.T. clones that while looking good, they aren't doing much to change or experiment with the formula.
He got the mask...and he still has it. So he's not completely alone. For a second when he mentioned tentacles I was expecting a lovecraftian twist. Thank the elder gods it wasn't.
It was an alright game. I'm not much of a fan of the PT-esque mechanic, since its been overly done in other indie horror games, but I do praise the environment and the narrative...... and also the bottle surviving, lol.
This is being way over-praised. I’m not trying to be mean. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Sure it is a student project and the dialogue/narration is well written but nearly everything from the looping hall to the radio broadcast that becomes distorted is a PT rip off. The format is tired and the overuse of its elements is what proves how amateur the effort is.
Thanks for playing our game!

@@bebebrown3668 Thank you, bebe, I'll take it in a good way. 😊 There are sooo many game characters of whom I'd rather *not* remind you. lol ❤
Thank you.
I swear, SOMEONE HAS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! When someone knocks on the door, you try to open it, and it opens and you let a monster inside!
Literally better than many of the games on your channel, even now in 2024, than those made by professional developers and independent studios. That's the real horror.
Damn the dev nailed the atmosphere and story way better than most full budget games.
Thank you.

The bottle is my only friend when these hallways of misery never end. Thanks CJU 🥃Cheers
Oooh! Early upload. I just finished watching your latest RE vid, so it's nice to have something else on the reel right after!
The way you brought the bottle along for a hot minute reminded me of Amnesia-era Cryoatic or Pewdiepie.

Excellently done. This one got me 3 times, pretty rare for me tbh. Great find and vid!
Glad I found this channel. Love your playthroughs cju.
This was pretty good, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The only thing I think that could be better is the brightness, seemed a tad too dark to see properly
This felt kinda layers of fear-y. Was enjoyable to watch.
Fantastic work -- particularly nice writing for a student game. Well done!
Wow, very productive! Enjoyed very single video of yours!
Neat little project - really well done, I thought. It makes you wonder what PT could have become if it hadn't been cancelled. Cheers!
I love how you open the door on beat with the music referring to 17:29 and after I believe.
What the song ?( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)
Good atmosphere and scares. This was great for a student project done in such a short time.
Thank you!
@@darkmode457 - Happy to say it, and I'd love to see more from you in the future! 😊

Wow, an early upload than usual :) Got my tea and i'm ready.
All the best for this devs. They surely made a nice job!
Wow, very impressive for a student-made game. The story was awesome as well. I liked.
Thank you!
DarkMode You're welcome. 🙏
Looove how early u uploaded today ❤

I guess that mask came from the same place as the orb in Amnesia? The Shadow is after you!
That scared the 💩 out of me
shoulda named this game 'Scaring-Chris-With-Exploding-Light-Bulbs-Horror-Game'
Gotta stimulate the mind before the grind

Once again thank you. Did anyone knows what was the title of the song at the end???
@@itsAvalan thank you very much!
You're breathtaking!
Killin it, dude
Nice!!😁
Ashanti Kingdom of Ghana...
Good graphics
12:49 My mind was in the gutter.
..Nonetheless wonderful work, this one.
Something of a downer (to put it mildly), but I thought it was an impressive experience.
22 minuten of pleasure!!
Interesting.

Creeptastic game!
The woman in that photo looks a little like Faye Wray. Sure he didn't upset the gorilla god?

i played this, it was o...k but i wouldnt say it was a great horror game, in fact it was pretty tame, and the storyline was a litle stale
Look forward for another RE video, and maybe another RE game.
first?
Yup, you're first lol
U r beautiful
