WITHOUT THE MACHINE! VARENIKI OR UKRAINIAN STYLE POTATO FILLED PASTA

Recipe for a traditional Ukrainian dish called vareniki or pyrogy, depending on the region. It is a homemade pasta filled with potato and cheese that is prepared using only a rolling pin. You don't need a pasta machine.
Ingredients:
Pasta
300 g all-purpose flour
1 medium egg
150 ml room temperature water
Filling
600 g potatoes
150 g feta cheese
1 onion
3 tbsp oil
salt black pepper to taste
For seasoning
200 g bacon or pork belly
1 onion
