This helped a lot but I may have to completely remove that tensioner piece to clean it out more because it does not seem to work properly. And the bar falls off the bolt. It did get better using your directions.
I’ve had some annoying issues with the *tensioner disk* that sits on the bar. The little notch that sits in the groove of the disk seems to move out of the groove after a while, and I can’t seem to figure out why. We use these saws pretty much everyday and they take a fair bit of abuse. What can we do??
I am largely against the quick tensioning saws. I have seen issues with a lot of them. This particular thing hasn't been an issue. I will do some digging and see what I can find. Are you making sure the disk is good and tight on the bar with the set screw?
Please please please guys, when you tighten the tooless nut, that the 3 fingers actually seat in the rotary dial nut. I have had these back off and come apart. My 180c and my new 212 have done this. Make sure the 3 fingers are seated for safety. Sometimes if it does vibrate loose while running it can find its home for it is spring loaded to help stay seated. Be safe gents.
Thank you for an excellent detailed video without all the blah blah. Straight to the point, great visuals, easy to follow
You are welcome and I am glad you enjoyed it.

Mine does not tighten. Help. Do I need a new bar or tensioner?
Thanks

@@247parts I mean theres no real way to tighten the disk itself more than it all ready is, then entire mechanism is tight on the bar.
Having this issue now
