This one really got me emotionally, the older people, their whole life in this place, so sad. I always wonder why the family don’t claim it, even a more distant relative would surely be informed if not the kids for whatever reason. So sad it’s all left to rot. I get a really nice vibe from the people who lived there. A really great explore as ever 🙂

I feel like a lot of these homes I’ve seen you guys explore were left to family after passing.. and it’s just too painful to go in or deal with. They’d rather let it go.. which looking at it from this perspective, it makes me sad. When my brother passed away, I had to quickly clean his home out by myself and the emotional toll it took for me to complete was extremely difficult. If I had the option or the finances I probably would have let it sit. I had to finish washing a sink full of his dirty dishes and oddly enough, that was the hardest part.
You can surely feel the vibes in a lot of these homes and I’m not physically in them! The life that’s still in them when all is preserved so perfectly.. how heavy.

My dad had to clean out his mom's apartment the day after she died because the manager was an inconsiderate jerk. My uncle rented an indoor, climate controlled storage unit so they could go through her stuff on their time.

I can never get my head round why it seems people just walk away from a family home they’ve lived in for many years, even if the old couple had to go into a rest home for medical reasons why didn’t the younger family members stay in the house?
That said it was a very good and interesting video Adam, keep them coming your very good at what you do.
    N.B.
You guys forgot to check out the huge integral garage!

For some people it was a custom to stop all the clocks in the house at the time of someone's death, in the event there was not a coroner or doctor immediately at hand.
You can tell the same people lived in that house for decades.
As someone who lost grandparents a few years back, when that much stuff gets left behind it's usually because it's tied up in legal matters and lack of communication. Thanks for sharing, be safe, and God bless.

I purchased a house where a family of seven was wiped out
When we walked into one of the rooms it was covered in spiritual signs..I then spoke to a neighbour and he told me what happened.
I lived in this house for 22 years and it was my best home ever.I always felt at peace.
The house was still filled with personal goods which included Jewellery antiques it was all part of the sale.
I kept some goods out of respect and auctioned some off.
Gave clothes and household goods to the Salvation Army in spa rd London.
    I’ve since moved.

They couple were in the antique trade

Hi Mark. The old guy was definitely in the RAF, most likely 2nd world war. As the pictures of spitfires and bombers were the same as my father had. All so, most of the ornaments and glass wear was 70s and 80s. Like all the sinks in the bedrooms. I really enjoy watching your recordings. 😊

We are renovating a house built in 1971. In each bedroom we’ve ripped out sinks in each bedroom. I think it was the start before having en-suites. I think Maisie loved horses 🐴, as there are photos everywhere. I really cannot imagine how scary it must have been at nighttime in a big house on your own. The husband was into airplanes, and tractors. There used to be lots of models of tractors in the living room, but it looks as if someone has removed them. The other urban explorer I watched climbed through the kitchen window, so I’m glad they are trying to board it up. You have done a much better explore than the others. Thank you, may the rest in peace

I always wondered, not having any family of my own, what would happen to my stuff. But there's clearly no guarantee that having a family is going to secure the future of your precious keepsakes. Imagine knowing that your inheritance is just rotting away along with all your parent's loved and enjoyed.

Several thoughts on this one. 1- I have seen the clocks on 3 in other explorers videos, childish!! 2- definitely feel son and his family lived there too, hence generational items and two master bedrooms 3- stereo looked late 70’s early 80’s finally 4- someone cared enough to board it up and remove probably more family photos yet leave all the rest,? Fantastic place! ❤️ in Tennessee

Can one seek an owner and maybe even to purchase the items? It's a shame for so much to waste. The steel tractors and toys could be sterilized and sold or donated. I love watching my grands actually playing with toys instead of on their butt's playing on phones. I truly enjoy the respect you always show. There's an inheritor somewhere who just doesn't care. I bet you could buy the contents cheap and then donate or resale. If you can't tell in one who has always taken care of what I have and would always prefer to give thing's knowing they are being enjoyed instead of rotting. Blessings

Then again what you guys have done is to show how people lived back in the day and they coped without broadband and modern devices. Hats off to you guys to leave it as it was when all of your finds have been abandoned I admire you. Sadly those who had vandalised them are just those who have no respect. It’s just a great timeline. It's Dale!
He's running around changing all the clocks
It's lovely to see places in good condition
Looks like the lady died, and the husband is probably in a home
They had no children, it's all Auntie cards
Lots of bedrooms had sinks in them, in the 60s, 70s, and 80s
    I did

The stereo was a very popular brand here in the US back in the 1970's & 80's & 90's.... But since doesn't have b an 8 track tape player on deck, I count the 70's out.... Love your accent dude....

I am wondering if one of them was a pilot, they like photos of planes everywhere. This is very sad, the place should be cleared and let them rest in peace.
