It's quite hard since we also cannot eat meat that is not slaughtered the Islamic way; even the vegetarian option, if it's fried in the same oil & using the same utensils 🙏😅 In Malaysia, vegetarians can eat the fries in McDonalds (but not at KFC) because they use vegetable oil and fried separately (I'm sure of this because I worked at both McDonalds & KFC before) but they said that in Japan we cannot eat the fries at McDonalds. Maybe different frying oil are used there? 🤔 Thank you so much for your hard work, Yoshito-san! 🙏 We really appreciate it 🥳
Hi Yoshito, I have some opinion maybe you could do some review or show us about halal or Muslim friendly food and drink at konbini store so that will be helpful for all Muslim traveller
It's quite a bit hard to find any halal Youshoku (Japanese Western style food). (Some have Halal Japanese Western style food restaurants, not many of them run by Japanese staffs, but there some run by foreign muslim staffs) There's some Pakistani & Turkish restaurants also serves halal hamburgers, even Pran Pone a Bengali-Italian restaurant and Hotel Granvia at Kyoto also serves halal humburgers too.
@@japan_halal_foodie There was once a halal Coco Ichibanya curry restaurant in Akihabara and Shinjuku, but now the restaurant was closed for no reason and no explanation or whatsoever.

@@japan_halal_foodie Oh yes, I do! ☺️ Thank you so much for your hard work 💖
they actually use beef flavoring in mcdonalds fries (everywhere except UK and india) which is why its not halal
@@pickleism253 Do you mean the shortening for frying or the flavouring powder?
@@ryuukakhadijah7766 they add a small amount of it to the oil used to fry in the factories
Enjoying your content. As someone who's been to Japan, it is quite difficult to find Halal food.
Hope more halal restaurants in Japan.
