Just the fact that you just spoke about it seems like a huge progress to me! I think you're a really strong person and i'm positive you can handle your addiction. You got this, Jeff!
Jeff, I applaud you for being as brave and honest as you were. Addiction is not easy to talk about, but in doing so, you take away it's power over you. Mario and Riley are the definition of authentic friends.
Silence is the killer,I think speaking out about it being aware you have a problem and seeking help like therapy is an awesome first step.Love you Jeff.
Most people who have drug addiction issues have been through trauma or abuse . Therapy would be a good start . Moving from LA might be a good idea too . Drugs are a big part of that area .
Mario is 100% correct. Seeking help. Whatever that helps looks like for you. Therapy? A program? I don't think there is a linear path. But a professional is important no matter what 💗💗💗
Amen brother, I was addicted to crank for years . It took me having a Heart Attack to finally quit. So thankful this didn't happen to you. Great and Brave to share this very private thing.
Stay strong and know that your not alone. Plus, having a strong support group is very important. You have that, and with the right mindset, so you're off to a great start.
I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH JEFF FOR TELLING THE WORLD ABOUT YOUR ADDICTION THAT'S SO BRAVE AND I RESPECT IT. THIS VIDEO WILL BE ASPIRING FOR SURE. I UNDERSTAND ADDICTION BECAUSE I WAS ONCE AN ALCOHOLIC SO WE CAN ALL RELATE IN A LOT OF WAYS. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP MY GUY. ❤💪 KEEP THE GOOD CONTENT COMING.
Go to a 12-Step Program. There have to be a lot of them in the LA area and get a sponsor!. Get an addiction assessment and talk to an addiction professional. Admitting you have a problem is a great first step.
Jeff: You WILL MAKE IT. You have great friends who will help you through this time in your life. It took a LOT OF GUTS to tell the world & I feel confident that influential people will reach out to you to guide you through the process. I am not a religious person but I will keep you in my prayers every day. Stay STRONG!!!
It’s too risky nowadays to take any drugs since it could be laced with fentanyl. Twelve step support, detoxing with supervision, hypnotherapy. You got this💪🏻💖
My dad is a retired DEA so I know to never do drugs. I do know the 2 common reasons people do drugs or drink to much alcohol. 1. As a means to escape their hardships (emotional pain, heartaches, stress at work etc.). 2. To increase the fun of partying. But they always just add more problems on ur plate. Stay strong Jeff, I'll say a pray for u tonight. Have Mario, Riley, and Travis by ur side when u need them. If it gets bad, then u should get perfectional help before it gets worse.
Jeff, proud of you for sharing your truth and glad you have your friends to support you. Admitting you have a problem is the first step and talking to an addictions specialist would be helpful.
Jeff, The fact that you are talking about it openly on your RUclips Show, but also the fact you are surrounded by some very close friends especially Mario, you have an Amazing Support system!!!! You also have a way to Help so many others that have no one to talk to or any type of close support system!
Howdy Jeff. Thank you for sharing this very private part of your life. You truly have an group of awesome friends who love and support you... and you have fans like me (out here in the virtual world), who are sending you warm thoughts and prayers!! Live each and every day with 'the joy of life' and the rising of the sun warming up your beautiful soul!! Namaste!
Honest talking is the beginning - the important first step - of the healing process - no matter what the issue is, physical or emotional. I think it's true: We're only as sick as our secrets. Also, with any addiction, ask yourself: "What am I running away from; what am I avoiding dealing with; what scary thing within myself am I trying to hide from? " We can get caught in addiction as a means of numbing, or avoiding, psychic pain.
Hello Jeff. Thank you so much for your honesty...Allow yourself to love the true you and time to aknowledge your worth in this world. Thank you for all the good you bring and share... Peace and love to you all.
Proud of you. Next step is look for professional help. You did the first step and is not going to be an easy path, and I agreed which what Mario said stepping forward and accepting you needs help, will open the path to get a detox. Get strong and look forward to a sober future. Your follower 😀
Therapy is a great option for so many people for so many reasons. Small reasons and more vital ones, find someone you have a good rapport with. From the way you look it's clear you are terrific about working on yourself. Why not be the best you?
There is also addiction to attention which stems from our need for love/validation from others. It is often fleeting when it comes from online outlets, but is so much more substantial when it comes from meaningful relationships with friends and doing good for others. 💙
Am proud of you for the fact that you have taken the first step to stand out and say you have a problem, the second step is for you to seek help, much 💞💞💞💞 happy to see your channel is growing
Jeffy as i told you on OF ,you can always talk to me about anything. I'm always here for you. It can help to just open up about things. You are not alone in this. So proud of you for saying this. Glad you have Mario and Riley to help you. ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely try NA. I have been in "The Program" coming up on 22 yrs. (April 15th). I think you will benefit greatly from it. I always tell people, 'go participate and it will work!' Just remember, you get out what you put in☺ I love you Jeff & I hope that you'll soon join me in loving you. Good luck
@JeffKasser Opening up and bringing it up and getting out, that's a huge first step. Addiction is not something to make light of. Everyone has their stories, mine is with my best friend and he is exactly in the same boat as you. You will have the support of everyone on here, anyone that have been with you through your journey so far. Your close group of friends are there for your physical support, to go talk to and be there in your presence. You did the bravest step is to admit it. Next, let's get you feeling better.
That's the wrong kind if crack you should be getting addicted to, you hot little stud-muffin you. 😅 Every time you get those urges - workout, kiss a dude, cuddle/hug a dude, play some video games, go for a swim, do some pushups, buy a pack of trading cards, make a carrot smoothie. You're strong man Jeff, you can overcome this. 🍀
Jeff, I love you so much! How awesome that you can recognize and discuss the addiction! Wish I could do something to help you! But, you do have my love, support, and prayers!
Well Jeff as so many have said the first step has been taken and that shows you are wanting to correct this. So proud of you for that. Everyone has their own path to recovery and I am sure you will find yours. A good therapist is key along with changing up your routines and yes the people around you. You have a gem in Riley. He is so wise beyond his years, calming and so relatable. Lean on true friends and you will find out quickly who they are when you start this journey. You got this Jeff. Your strong, kind, honest and hell us Tennessee people are tough. Hugs love and good luck.🙏🖒💪💕
A grew up in an addictive family and lost my parents young (dad 48 and mom 58) due to their addiction to alcohol abs nicotine. My older brother who is addicted to alcohol and drugs has finally found sobriety which makes me so happy. You are on the right track - admitting you have a problem abs getting help!! Proud of you! 😍
You alluded to this once before I think and it was a moment that I found very inspiring. I struggle with the same thing as you. Boredom is definitely the trigger for me and it sounds like maybe it’s the same for you. On top of that, it seems like you’re questioning a lot in your life. And old behaviors can be comforting. I definitely suggest therapy over NA based on what you’ve exposed on the various videos you’ve posted. Friends can only take you so far whether they enable or not. If you want to stop, see a therapist and have them hold you accountable. Accountability is a big part of being able to stay sober; if that’s what you want. Also look into harm reduction. But also give yourself a break with the understanding it seems to me that you’re questioning a lot of things in your life and that by definition is difficult. Do healthy things, and try to not get bored. Riley and Mario definitely seem like they can take care of you in that way. I empathize with you and know your struggle is not uncommon. Keep posting your progress and your set backs.
When most people turn to any type of drug it's to escape from some type of painful external force. The euphoria you experience while under the influence is so powerful allowing you to just focus oh the bliss in the moment. You are doing the right thing admitting out loud that you have a problem. Now the hard work begins exploring the root cause and finding alternative ways of dealing with it. You are a beautiful man with some excellent friends to support you and keep you accountable to yourself. Wishing you much success! Love you buddy! ❤❤
I myself was once addicted to cigarettes, Cocain, alcohol, and the high I got from weed. just remember every single day you don't do it, is a victory. you are very strong to admit your addiction. keep that strength and take it 1 day at a time. you can beat this. I believe in you. you got this
Look at you acknowledging, that takes courage to say out loud man, courage. I know you don't need me to say this but I'm really proud of you and I'm so glad you have your friends to help you. Hug hug hug. You got this man, you got this!! ❤️❤️❤️ I've been clean since 2005.
Hi Jeff, congratulations on your beginning the journey to get back in control of your life! Getting support after acknowledging the problem is the first step for a fulfilling life. Finding a good therapist is another possibility is also good. I can also say with confidence that if you are open to consider it, a skillful astrology reading can be more enlightening than you can ever imagine. If you are interested I can easily tell you more. I'm available to help. I'm reaching out because people are not aware how helpful a good Astrologer can be. When you see this though I want you to know I wish you the best in all you do.
Jeff, bro, thanks for your honesty. The first step is admitting you have a problem. I'm a recovering addict, mainly meth sometimes crack. I first picked up in 2004 and it started recreational but then it gradually got out of hand and it became a full blown addiction. I also suffer from bipolar depression which led me to pick up in the first place. Let's just say addiction is a slippery slope and eventually recreational can become a full blown addiction. Fast forward I've been clean since January of 2015, over 7 years. Looks like you have a few great guys who can support you. I highly recommend checking out Narcotics Anonymous, which greatly help me with support and to really work on my addictive behaviors. Reach out bro, there's a lot of help and resources out there Love you Jeff!!🥰
Love ya Jeff. I remember when you mentioned this once before when you first came on Mario's channel. Yes I've been here alone time. Never keep anything to yourself always keep people aware. No matter what the time. There is always someone here for you
Jeff, you have made a great first step. I had friends who are addicts. I went to their NA meetings. Here are somethings I learned. Your have a cycle that you go thru. It starts with using, then guilt, then promising yourself or family you will never do it again. Then you have life stresses and you start the cycle over again. Most people use drugs to cover some pain in their lives. Something happened to them that was very painful and they keep it hidden. You will need to find out what it is. There are ways to do that, counseling or therapy. Make sure that when you have these feelings that you call your friends. It would be better to have a mentor that is a recovering addict. But one of the first thing to do is have a complete physical. Make sure that there is not a physiological reason for this. Start with the body, than the mind. I hope this will help. Just my 2 cents.
The absolute first step is acknowledgment and you’ve done that in a huge way. I applaud your openness and honesty, I hope you’ll accept the peace & prayers that I am sending your way. therapy and leaning on friends should be the new way you work against the addiction. Keep going Jeff, walk into your new purpose 🙏🏽
I'm so proud of you for coming out with your issues and asking for help Jeff. You always have people to talk to and you have me. Keep strong and find your path to sobriety sweetheart, break the cycle. Love always xoxo
This is an amazing first step , well done. Many people who aren't religious struggle with the NA/AA approach as it is very Christian based. There are many other substance abuse programs that are less focused on being an addict and complete abstinence, and recognise varying degrees of substance misuse and self medication. Please look for a good therapist that specialises in substance misuse, and let them guide you into whatever support groups/programs best suit your needs.if you go straight into a program that isn't tailored for you, you may be discouraged if it doesn't work, and be reluctant to try anything else. It's important to realise that addiction is a spectrum and treatment isn't one size fits all. I would also be careful of advice from unqualified people, make sure you are asessed by a qualified therapist before you make any treatment decisions.your followers are great moral support, but they aren't (for the most part) therapists. When looking for a therapist, you also want to consider someone who will be open and non-judgmental of your OF work and exploration of your sexual identity. Best of luck from a queer Aussie, sober from drugs 25 years, sober from alcohol 9 months.
All I can say Jeff is I hope you do seek some professional help. I know Mario and Riley are helpful in this situation. But they aren't the professionals. And to be honest it's not fair to put that much pressure on them to help you with your recovery. They will help but you need a professional to guide you. Good luck in your recovery
Well done, you have a fight but I'm sure that with the support of friends and family you will have the ability to come through. Self belief will help your progress. You will have the strength to take a differnt path. XX
WOW JEFF! WELL YOU JUST MADE A VERY BIG STEP AND A POSITIVE STEP IN DEALING WITH YOUR ADDITION. ONLY YOU CAN CORRECT THIS AND YOU JUST MADE A BIG STEP BY TALKING ABOUT IT SO YOUR SO READY TO DEAL WITH THIS. YOU ARE A SOUTHERN MAN AND US SOUTHERNERS HAVE VERY STRONG CHARACTERS TO DEAL WITH WHATEVER COMES OUR WAY! I WANT TO WISH YOU MUCH STRENGTH IN HELPING YOU DEAL WITH THIS AND YOU HAVE ALL THE TOOLS TO OVERCOME THIS JEFF. THANKS FOR SHARING AND WE LOVE US SOME OF YOU JEFF!! TAKE CARE!
Acknowledging you have a problem is truly the first step in pursuing a sober life. Checking into a long-term treatment facility is my recommendation. St. Judes was an excellent treatment program. Quit or control your addiction solely for yourself and not because someone suggests or the court mandates it.
I’m so happy that you have decided to face your addiction before it takes over your life. This is the best first step! Now please get guidance to help you isolate your triggers and how to deal with them. I’ve been thru this and thought it was gonna not work but it did! Stay strong and believe in yourself and take the love and assistance from your friends and family! Good luck brother! I’m praying for you!👊🏽
I think it is great that u are dealing with the issue and trying to seek help . I think u can totally get better I have faith in you love u wishing u a healthy journey.
I Appreciate that you are brave I'm not just a fashion designer but I also want to kind of get into modeling I'm scared cuz half my past of addiction and stuff so the fact that you're speaking about this and your making awareness I really appreciate that you did that
You did the hardest thing, admitting to your addiction. It's a struggle day in and day out. Thank God you have these two amazing supportive friends. Find something to fill that time when you want to use. Rather it be going for a jog, going to the gym, ect. Mine was taking the dogs for a walk it help me clean my head space. Find what tiggers you and remove it from you're completely(easier said than done I know) much respect to you for admitted your addiction I pray that you will get through this battle. It's a one day at a time. Learn in Mario and Rylie for help and support find a sponsor in you area. Your addiction dose not control you you control your addiction.
Positive outcome is based on positive environment. Make sure the company you keep is capable of fostering the positive environment you need. Be PROACTIVE in ensuring that positive environment, or mindset. Do not delegate you your wellbeing to the crowd / friend. Know your triggers and remove yourself from that vulnerability. Self responsibility via self truth. Don't B.S. yourself. You CAN do this...if not on your own right now then with good peers young Jeffy. Establish better challenging hobbies /outlets. Now go be good already. :)
Believe it or not, Jeff, you have people around you who love and care for you and will support you on your journey. You were very vulnerable here, which is not an easy thing to do privately let alone publicly. You are enough as you are; and you will get through this.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you for sharing your issues. I've worked with several 100 people who have had addiction to alcohol and drugs. The hardest part is admitting your issues. Once you have done that you can stop using and you even talked about asking your friends to not let you use any drugs. Just remember once you give your friends the ability to prevent you from using. It's a proven fact that once you use any type of addictive substance from sugary drinks, coffee, cigarette, drugs, etc. First step is what you did and we're proud of you. Now go through the house and cars and throw alway any and all drugs including Marijuana (that's a depressant which makes you want other drugs) stay strong and safe and remember we all love you
Jeff, facing up to this and talking about it helps to remove the stigma of addiction and helps the work of freeing yourself from it. Stay strong and stay close to your friends. It's not always easy, but it's worth it! Lots of love to you!
Beautiful video Jeff. I'm so proud of you for sharing your story with everyone. You're an inspiration for everyone. So glad that Riley and Mario are with you to give you some sort of hope and faith. The only thing I been dealing for the past 12 years is depression but I'm taking day by day . Thank you so much Jeff for sharing your story. You are a blessing in the life of those who are around you never forget it. Look for help or take some therapy. I want you to be alive and healthy because the world needs more inspirational and amazing guys like you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Say hi to Mario and Riley. Love you Jeff❤️❤️❤️
Hey Jeff...we all care about you and want the best for you!!! I hope with some help you will be able to kick this addiction!! Remember that it's not a disgrace if you fall back in your old routines because we all will continue to care about you...that is unconditional🥰🥰🥰🥰 and if you succeed we will celebrated with you! I'm so glad you recognized that there was a problem, one that you can lick and life will get better. Here is a big HUG 🙇♀️ and Kiss😘 for you!!!!
It takes a lot of strength to admit that you have a problem no matter what it is. And you are very strong right now 💪 and you're not alone. It's a blessing to have a support system 🙏 and you are blessed for sure. Love you all and I wish you nothing but the best 😘😘😘😘
I dont have advice, but I am sending lots of love! I just wanted to hug you that whole confession. I hope you find what you need, outside of that. And you need to know, you are very loved. Friends, family, fans, yes, but also, God loves you deeply, regardless of anything you may feel separates you. You are so very loved. You can do this!
Three VERY, VERY intelligent and personable young men- each special on ANY LEVEL. You are right about saying something. Articulating ANY problem is 90 percent of overcoming it. There is probably an underlying psychological issue that you may very well not even be aware or have chosen not to deal with. If you can go two weeks in Italy and not use cocaine while those around did not notice a change in your behavior or mood that might indicate "addict" is not quite the right word - right now.
Jeff, going to a withdrawal camp worked for a friend of mine in the ad music industry. It was a life-destroying addiction, and he eventually came out of it, went back to uni, started a family and went school teaching. You can overcome this, and your family is likely your strongest resource and ally.
The first step of recovery is admit that you have a problem. Don`t forget there is people there for you that care you at all time`s who care for you. An you can go to AA meeting for support and to talk about your problem. I am happy that you are telling all of us this an i really hope you get help. Much love for your fan Sierra
Wow Jeff....... Really caught me off guard with this one. NOT at all what I was thinking you had to tell them.............. But you had my attention during the whole video. Very touching, and sincere. You took the first step. Talking about this and opening up. You've got a couple really good guys there by your side, and they love you. Hell, we all love you. Keep Riley and Mario close to you. Keep talking. Have an idea there's not much those guys wouldn't do to help you as needed. You'll be in my thoughts for sure. Stay strong, and best wishes to you guy.
Incredibly brave Jeff. Great first step. It might seem like a downward spiral but you can work your way out of it. Though u might not feel out of control right now, u might benefit from a 12 step program. Nothing wrong with checking it out. Don't allow it to consume your life. I wish u well.
I think. You have 2 really good friends there Jeff, use them to help yourself overcome you’re addition . Proud of you for bringing it out into the open. Xxxxx
Jeff-That is fantastic that you have spoken your truth. I hope this may be your first step in the recovery process. I believe you would benefit from professional help. You got your support from friends, family, and this RUclips Community. I wanted to add that your friends can’t fix your addiction. Only Jeff, can fix the addiction. It’s not uncommon for friends, family, automatically try to ‘fix’ the addiction.
Jeff, I think you are very brave to come forward and admit you have a problem! You have great friends in Travis, Riley and Mario, they will help you. Good luck and don’t forget there are lots of folks who follow you and love you❤️😘🥰
As a long, long time counselor, my advice is to seek the trade-off. What will provide the same sense as the p0wder? or the leaves? Healing is a measurable process. Finding a new sense of wholeness is to meet your deeper or true-self. Seek your spirit, as we are all both flesh and spirit.
You are the best Jeff💕....always remember this.....you are not alone in this struggle.....we all are with u....we love you support you....you will soon get over this...always remember u r an awesome human being and you cannot waste your life doing drugs....make up a mind set and get over it soon......I love you💞
Thanks for sharing this, Jeff. I agree with both Riley and Mario that drug use is usually a symptom of something else. Therapy is a good option, to get started. You are acknowledging it, as well as having a support network that's in it with you pays great dividends down the road. I wish you the best of success with overcoming this.
Just the fact that you just spoke about it seems like a huge progress to me! I think you're a really strong person and i'm positive you can handle your addiction. You got this, Jeff!

Sending you positive energy. Riley has been a good energy to have around you. Love you guys!
You spoke your truth. WOW! You are love and loved as well as amazing. You will find your way… you always do.
Respect for being so brave! In sharing you will help more people then you realize. Bless you Jeff!!

I spent 10 ears on that junk, I did the cold turkey on my own. Jeff stay strong and let it go. Hugs

Im certain u will overcome the drug addiction and Im glad u have great friends like Riley and Mario there to support u through this drug addiction.
It takes strength to bare your story like this to the world Jeff. Please know you are loved and have changed lives💕
I've been clean since 2005.
I am glad that you were able to admit that you have a problem. It's great that you have people around you that can help you out and listen to you.
Reach out bro, there's a lot of help and resources out there
Love you Jeff!!🥰
Truth and friends are a great start to recovery, and you have some good ones. Please include me as one, also.
We all love you Jeff and are very proud of you your a lovely guy and very sweet sending love from new Zealand my friend
Thank you Jeff for your honesty.
I pray for strength for you to overcome addiction and understand the reason why and find a good professional to walk with you through this journey.
Proud of you Jeff. You are going to make it, and you are loved by many.
You are enough as you are; and you will get through this.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Praying for you Jeff any addiction is very hard to get over without help and positivity.
Agree that awareness necessary in treating addiction. Causes are internal and psychotherapy helpful. Bioprogramming helpful. Dialog also helpful.
Now go through the house and cars and throw alway any and all drugs including Marijuana (that's a depressant which makes you want other drugs) stay strong and safe and remember we all love you
That was very brave, Jeff. I wish you all of the strength to reach the state of health (mentally and physically) you desire.
Jeff, facing up to this and talking about it helps to remove the stigma of addiction and helps the work of freeing yourself from it. Stay strong and stay close to your friends. It's not always easy, but it's worth it! Lots of love to you!
Your friends are your best medicine and emotional healers. Keep them close. Love you 😍 💗
Thank you Nancy
Remember that it's not a disgrace if you fall back in your old routines because we all will continue to care about you...that is unconditional🥰🥰🥰🥰
and if you succeed we will celebrated with you!
You are great, I have been in rehab. You have people who care about you, I am one. Loring
Saying it out loud is the first big step. Proud of you for taking this step Jeff. Love you my brother ❤️
Jeff I love your honesty. Stay strong.
I think. You have 2 really good friends there Jeff, use them to help yourself overcome you’re addition . Proud of you for bringing it out into the open. Xxxxx
I'm going thru the same thing now, I wish u the best success ever. Hope I can do it.....
Good luck and don’t forget there are lots of folks who follow you and love you❤️😘🥰
Great, I was waiting for this. You can be proud to talk about it.
Thank you so much Steve
As a long, long time counselor, my advice is to seek the trade-off. What will provide the same sense as the p0wder? or the leaves? Healing is a measurable process. Finding a new sense of wholeness is to meet your deeper or true-self. Seek your spirit, as we are all both flesh and spirit.
Jeff we love you and hope you are so brave to open up about your addiction. You are strong
Thank you so much
Oh this video broke my heart. I hope you get it treated, Jeff. You are such a beautiful presence of a human being and you make us all laugh and smile.
Mustafaaaaaaa I'll challenge you on that broken heart 🥺 Mine is SHATTTTTTTTTTTERRRRRRRRED 💔
Hopefully your story will help others that may be dealing with the same thing 🙏❤️
