Obviously not as they are the ones putting the claim forward to begin with, it doesn't take a genius to realize the caveat is that anything they put infront of the camera has the possibility of being destroyed. Or are we going to pretend firing a howitzer at watermelons is not likely to break any of said watermelons, not to mention the stand they rest on?
I think when they say loss of equipment they mean accidental ones stuff like mannequins are meant to be part of the destruction things like cameras however uhhh
I'm sure the ad revenue from this and/or the main video will more than cover the replacement cost... right?

You can blame the fact that you made the dynamic spine of the arrow stiffer by using a shorter arrow, which will have caused it to fly differently to the full length arrows. (To the left for a right handed archer)
By the way, the rubber blunts you were using are designed for hunting small game like rabbits.
Wondered if anyone was going to point that out....change the length, change the flight. Really wasn't Gav's fault (much, except they both should have realized that one).

The specifics of HOW it will fly differently may not be common sense, but "different arrow flies differently" ought to be

Trying to save money on cheap arrows, caused a couple thousand dollars in damage.
@Myles 1 Pretty sure OP meant by only buying 6 arrows, they had to reuse and recreate from broken ones which caused the accident.

its a anker powerbank with normal 120 us outlet on it i think it can do something like 150watts or so just search anker mains powerbank and you will find it cost 300$ if im not mistaken
I'd have thought you should be able to get a small display without all the electronics etc you could use to fix it.. just the LCDs might be cheaper? And a bonus video of changing it?
yes thats exactlly what i meant just buying the LCD screen and replacing it still having the old case buttons electronics and old controllerboard for the panel just replacing the broken lcd panel.
and maybe they could do like a collab with some people who fix stuff so its like 2 for 1 or so

It’s only on 10 minute + videos now that they get monetised (unless it’s changed within the last few weeks), so the only money will be ad revenue.

The thing is, it wasn’t bad aim. They reused an arrow that had already been cut at they feathers. The feathers keep the arrow straight. Because they reused the arrow without any feathers, the arrow wasn’t able to stable itself and shot the camera thingy

Take a lesson from the mythbusters, lexan screens to protect people and equipment
I know this is late, but here is an explanation. Gav's aim had been consistent (I gotta give him kudos for that throughout the shoot). But their decision to reuse a damaged arrow with a different length changes the dynamics of the arrow. At a certain length of the arrow with the certain weight of the tip, an arrow is built with the right amount of tip weight vs the arrow spine (or the amount of flex the arrow gets from the materials and the way the arrow is built). You can google about this and there are certain arrow sizing vs spine charts even depending on the bow poundage (or how strong the bow is).
