Hi Tony. Thanks for uploading this video on using Logic with voiceover. I wasn’t sure if it was accessible or not. I have used GarageBand before a while ago, but not Logic. Great introductory video! Very helpful.
@@MrJt1020 hi Tony I love your channel. I’m blind and I’m really good using voiceover with garage band. I spent like about five years learning how to use garage band on the iPhone. But I would love to see a video where you show us how to use logic on the iPad. Since they don’t have it for iPhone yet. Hopefully one day they’ll put it for iPhone. Let me know if do you have a video on the iPad or if you going to make one.
I hope u do more Logic Pro tutorials I am a partially blind user are u going to do Logic Pro 10.6.1 ?review and accessibility I really loved your tutorial it's easy to follow and understanding thank you so much I hope you do more
Great Introduction to Logic Pro. I do mostly audio Editing on my M1 MacBook Pro. can't decide which I should purchase yet. Logic Pro or Amadeus Pro. Your video has been helpful.
This video is a Godsend! I've been trying to teach myself this program for so long, I almost gave up hope. Not being able to see the screen is so frustrating. The more Logic with Voiceover programs you can create, the better. I'd even be interested in paying for private lessons. Many many thanks!
Hey man, not sure if you've solved your problem is but I would be happy to help with anything you would like to know. I wouldn't charge but can always use zoom if you're still looking to learn some more.
Great video man. I’m impressed at the voiceover navigation. I was a Jaws and Sonar wiz back in the day. Might b tempted to spend som money on a Mack. Hae you tried the Reaper with NVDA or Jaws, was it worth the effort?
What software do you use to screen record and capture your screen with and hear your microphone I really hope to see my logic videos from you in the future more logic videos from you in the future
For someone who's never used a mac, where did you learn this stuff? As in the commands. Are they standard voiceover commands that you are applying to logic, or are they app specific general commands . Like I notice sometimes you are using more intuitive commands in menus like up and down and escape, yet other times you are using combinations. Does the verbosity help tell you which commands to use, or does knowledge of voiceover tell you which elements you need to interact with and use different commands than just arrowing. It was a great tutorial in terms of showing what's possible, but made me realise how little I know, and how I might not realise what I can and can't do cuz I don't know which commands to use and when.
Hi, Simon, Well, a big part of learning this program is being a self starter. Troubleshooting and navigating using general knowledge of Voiceover keystrokes and commands. For example, interacting with groups, sliders, or tables, moving left or right, etc. There are a series of app specific commands. Like most programs, they will have those programed into the interface. This is more of a self start guide to expose you to what is possible. I explain in the video on multiple keystrokes used to navigate with Voiceover. I wish you the best of luck. There are a lot of great additional tutorials out there.Another great contact is to check out, www.logic.band Best wishes, Tony
@@MrJt1020 Thanks. One further question. Do the third party plugins like those of Waves have equal accessibility to the ones that ship with Logic? Cuz that certainly aint the case on windows :D
Hey man great video. I was a GarageBand user for years and now after watching your video I've upgraded to Logic pro. One question that I can't seem to understand is when I want to change the tempo, how can I change the tempo for example to 81 as it only moves up in tens. I had this problem in GarageBand and I seem to have it in logic logic as well. Hope this makes sense and hope you can finally help me out with something so simple thanks
Excellent question! And congratulations to moving up to logic Pro. When you’re changing the tempo slider, instead of using control option right or left arrow, add the shift key. Control option shift left or right arrow. This also applies to volume and panning within the project inspector.
@@MrJt1020 thank you so much! This has puzzled me for so long! Just wondering what third-party plug-ins do you use as it's always hit and miss to know if voice-over will be able to work with third-party plug-ins? Also do you know if the sampler is accessible as i use third-party drums and would like to use one shots.
can u do something like importing drum kits and how to make a beat with it I am trying to b a music producer and I like this app on mack so far after following u
Hi. Have you ever been trying to use plug in inside logic pro with voiceover. my brother is visually impaired and he is getting trouble to control Kontakt with voiceover. He couldn't fully access Kontakt using voiceover. Do you have any suggestion?
What’s up Tony I wanna say thank you for all the videos that you put out, to be honest with you I’m more a one on one type of learner, I could definitely let you know that I’ve been in the recording industry for about 20 years and always used ProTools, I have no idea what to do with logic, I have version 10.5.1 and would love to know if there’s any possible chance that you and I could connect by zoom and perhaps giving me a couple classes it would mean the world to me and I could probably hook you up with some plug-ins would love to hear back from you take care
Hello, I want to know when you get a mac. Then install logic pro and we need to add any additional add-ons. In order to help access to the blind again?
Hey there, no need for scripts on the Apple environment. Voiceover can be toggled with, Command + F5. Logic Pro works wonderfully with the built-in screen reader, Voiceover. :)
After you’ve recorded your audio or midi, make sure that region is selected. You can press the left or right arrows to cycle through different recorded bits on a specific track. To clarify, press shift space. Once you found the selection that you want to loop, press L. Hope this helps
Tony what’s up, I appreciate the like that you sent me but honestly that doesn’t tell me much, I waited three additional days and really need some help are you able to get connected with me so you could show me some basics it would mean the world to me let me know what’s up

I really appreciate the videos you have on logic from the voice over perspective. I’ll definitely be using this to learn.
Hi Tony.
Great tutorial, fun and very educational. thank you so much. I’d not even touched a Mac until a week ago. 👍🏻
Glad to see you’re still around and kicking it, haven’t seen you since high school
Always. Three albums later. Finally going to school. Was offered a job. Blessings can come when you’ve suffered enough to get there.
