More specifically, this is what is referred to as a predestination paradox. The Charmed Ones had to be brought to the past to save their future. Incidentally, Melinda Warren was mentioned in the new series as a potential ancestor of The Charmed Ones of that series. Both Melinda Warren and The Charmed Ones are fixed points in time. That is,they are inevitable,meant to be. So,depending on what path in life Melinda and her descendants took,then the Charmed Ones would ultimately have turned out even more radically different than what was seen here. But The Charmed Ones Will exist.
@@rayalexander3734 it would be totally different. They went back in time because Cole for the Triad should change the past of the Charmed Ones, so they needed to go back in time to save their future. If they failed, there wouldn't have been a reason to go back in time as the Charmed Ones do not exist in the way we know them or they do not exist at all. All that went wrong did not go wrong and the timeline resets itself going back to the usual one. In the original timeline there wasn't Cole neither the Charmed Ones.
I hate Ava. She's all smily and respectful because she wants to get something out of it. As soon as she found out the Charmed couldn't help her (at first), she showed her true nature. Pissed because they couldn't help, suck up to them when she thinks they can help.
The comics reveals an ultra powerful nexus known as, The All. It is the very source of all magic. Hence the name. On Halloween 🎃 is when everyone can tap into it for 24 hours.

If you would of gone in to a chat room, which I'm aware hasn't existed for a while, or you read the magazines, it was about the tv show. The whole comic thing was not really apart of it back then. Meaning just because someone made a comic book before during or after, does NOT make it cannon. Completely different universe, different venue, completely different fan base, different continuity, and ps I've never gone to com con and heard Shannon holly or anyone else speak of or ask about comics. Again bro good point and I agree but what you saying, well is just one person making a opinion about something already done and irrelevant. Advice. You're smart and no doubt talented. How about instead of trying to change things in the past to suit you, you let it be, draw inspiration from it, and instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, you show us how to use it.
Umm she has been devout witch fighting witch hunters with a dark witch to boot , she was expecting the saviors . I could understand being underwhelmed , them not being able to access their personal powers was a wildcard but also telling how much they relied on their innate powers versus craft knowledge . They do at this point lack craft knowledge but in their defense they only have about three years experience , learning by sheer day to day no training .

The only problem with this story line is the Charmed Ones wouldn't exist if anything had happened to the baby in 1670.
