Seems like this heli is going to be mostly useful as a precision CAS asset. Heli deploys small fireteam, the supports that fireteam with precision rocket fire and m60 suppression, plus scouting. Mi8 seems like it will be the heli to use for bombardment
So are u able to change the fire rate, so that one rocket is shot per one pull of the trigger ? Giving a total of 14 shots. Instead of one rocket per pod at the same time for a total of 7 shots ? And if so, can it be set up to alternate between the left and right pod? So I pull the trigger and 1 rocket shoots from my right side only . And then on my next trigger pull 1 rocket shoots from my left side only in an alternating fashion ?
In theory it will be possible, since ripple-single switch not working currently. But it is there you just cant press it. IF they enable it you will be able to set it up to shoot 1 rocket, without pressing button to switch pylons.
@@RadicalNomad97 yeah so currently there is only the options to choose between the left / right / both pods when you hit fire. Plus you can choose how many rockets it will Fire when you pull the trigger from 1-7 for each pod, so if you had it set to both pods you could fire all 14 in one go There is a ripple selection that’s currently greyed out which would switch from left to right. Hopefully that function makes it in for release
Are there controller controls available to test? The current modded rockets are fired with the yaw right control so its hard to aim but also to not accidentally fire while manoevering
its only been 6 weeks to be fair, and with the holidays in between I think it would be unfair to expect it any faster. Experimental branches are usually up for just over a month for previous updates. So not too much longer when you factor in the holiday breaks

Nothing about unguided rockets says “precision” lol
@ skill issue, after a bunch of practice shooting, I was plinking individual soldiers in game master.

Yeah that will be awesome! Everything from this video is vanilla however, and will be in the next update 😁

@@bighag9773 I use controls a bit closer to legacy with my controller, I use X + A for collective, RT + LT for anti torque, and RB for the weapons
What setting did you have to change to get weapons on RB

Yep!
@@Jezzy95any clue on when it’s coming to console experimental?
@@justjackmarstonwithinternet it's not, it will be on console once it goes to live
I’ve been seeing these 1.3 update videos for months now. I really wish they would just release the damn update for everyone already!😡
