Thank you. Packard was elegant, stylish, understated. Imagine. That's a two-seater. Personal luxury, or a sports car, for gentle folks of a certain taste and means.

Beautiful packard. The hood ornament is called a sliding boy. Yes that is the battery box on the right fender like my 1925 Packard.

Mike, I take my 1925 packard limo to the book store to look for new car books, Several times to the bank and mostly to grab a fast food burger after a nice drive. Also in the 20's and 30;s the number like 740, means it is the 7th series and 40 the wheel base with a 1 in front. Or 740 is on a 140" wb. @@Mikesclassicautoworld

Great video and a fantastic car. BTW, all open Packard dashes of this period are actually metal and have been painted in a faux wood pattern. Less problems when they get wet.

Wonderful program. If your ever in Ogden Utah give the Railway Museum a look . They have part of the building set aside for Antique Automobiles from that time. When my buddy and I go in we say we are here to worship the Chrome. 😁

LOL. I think we all are there to do the same. Funny you mentioned the railway museum. This display was at the old "Reading Terminal Train Shed" in Philadelphia. Its now part of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. You can google it and see pictures of it in its former glory. It's now used as a grand hall for all kinds of things and is amazing inside. Lots of the original architecture is still in place. Thanks for watching. 👍
