Did you cut the rear chassis to fit? Or just push whole body back to fit... They looks good... Loves the way u filmed them too 😍

Thanks! Yes I cut the rear rails short by about 10-12mm to fit the body. There isn't much stock left except the axles. Ha.

@@slip_fitter and also, stock shock tower will be too tall for the truck to sit?

@@slaveoptics yes. I have alu shock mounts front and rear. I had to trim the rear mounts down (to the second set of holes from the top) to keep from cutting holes in the truggy bed. I also have shock keys installed but I dont think you have to have them.

Would you have photos or be able to make a video about how you mounted the j45c hinge on the rear of the trx4?

Sorry, that one has been broken down to make a different rig. I had to cut around 5/8" off the back of the TRX4 rails to get the position of the front wheels correct. Some minor fitting of the hinge frame bracket to fit inside the rail channel. I changed out the rear shock mounts with some aftermarket ones and still had to trim the top of them so they wouldn't hit the bed when closed. Allot of work really...lol

@@slip_fitter thanks for the explanation. That’s exactly the same route I initially planned on doing. Seems like 3d printing will be a better option so that I could still fit the same shell on my cfx-w.
