    I think the biggest game changer in BBQ is youtube. Without RUclips awesome people like yourself and others wouldn't be able to reach people like me. I learned so much about cooking bbq/smoking properly in the last few months. I always enjoyed cooking but now i love it even more. Thank you and the others for taking the time to teach and share from your experiences.

    God Blessed me beyond my wildest dreams.
    The name of the restaurant was Señor Sancho’s Mexican Restaurant and Bar.
    I Love watching your videos and appreciate them very mucho 😊
    Thank you and God Bless,

    I'm a southern Arizona boy, Arnie and I'm with you. 68 is FREEZING! If I'm outside with a bit of a breeze, I like it to be 80. If I'm indoors, 76 to 78 is my game.

    I use an Inkbird for home brewing. Maintaining temp is essential for brewing lagers.

    I’m from Georgia and I’ve been been smoking pork shoulders, ribs, and loins for decades. 4 years ago I moved to Abu Dhabi so and of course beef is significantly cheaper than pork (a 13 pound prime brisket is probably $30 dollars cheaper than a decent shoulder). So when I finally moved into a place that allowed grilling I took a gamble and attempted my first brisket. Thanks to the thermometer it was easy for me to understand where I was in the cook and I could follow any generic guideline. I ended up with solid bark, a pretty smoke ring, and it was juicy. If I didn’t have the thermometer I know I would have screwed something up.

    That's an awesome video Carnal. Many great tips. I am making a video about this type of thermometer soon. Your food came out amazing S usual. Do you think a spare probe can be used to check the ribs in various spots instead of a handheld thermometer? I might try that for the fun of it. Saludos desde Corpus Christi Texas

    I use meat thermometers on most of my cooks also. But, Brisket and beef ribs are two meats you can cook without looking at temperature. By probing the meat. When your probe goes in like butter, 9 times out of 10 the temp is around 200 to 205.

    • @AAblade7
      @AAblade7 9 месяцев назад +1

      If I grew up doing briskets I’d probably be like that. Unfortunately I’m from georgia and we mostly do pork. When I moved to Abu Dhabi I got more into beef due to the fact that good quality Briskets are cheaper than a pork shoulder. Having a good meat thermometer has helped me speed up the learning curve.

Hopefully sometime soon I can do more to help. I know that everyone like you that produce these videos have to find someway to get them paid for through it all. Continue with what you do. I came here for the exact opposite reason. I’m shopping for meat thermometers and came here because I’ve been subscribed to Armies channel for some time and knew I could probably find a recommendation based on actual use and experience. Why shoot in the dark with trial and error and waste time and money? You read the title of the video. What did you expect from it if not an answer to the question? At that point, anticipate that the viewer would then ask the second question, “which ones do you recommend Arnie?” So answer that in the same video so as not to waste people’s time. That’s just smart, common sense service.
