Rosie...walk in it my love. Every time I see her, she definitely makes you say 'go ahead girl'. No one would have ever thought about her age in comparison if she hadn't brought it up. I wonder when she became unsure of herself because that is not the Bronx Rosie I was familiar with as a child. I am still having a hard time focusing on her age even after she mentioned it because she is that bad...Love Rosie!
It's not in her head. She means the Hollywood issue with "women of a certain age". It's getting better but that's why she and others have had to fight a bit.
@@TNDCBaby I know its not in her head but if thats what you lead with or mention, it takes away from the film. I know I myself was not thinking of her age. I always held her in high regard. To me, she blended right in to where it wasnt even a thought in my mind...until she mentioned it. Now if I watch it, I will be thinking she is older than everyone else and its harder to get into the reality of the story. Its like issues of racism. For black people, we know they are present but the one they call the "Uncle Toms" are the ones who learn to place their minds else where to get things done. Same exact thing...the more you think about it, the more insecure you may become and it stagnates you.

In the UK the film rating is a 15, i think its appropriate for most 13 year olds.
Well I saw it first and then took my 13yo sister to see it, I think this movie is more appropriate than many others of the same or even of lower rate

I loved there adventure, and miss Smollet-Bell is hot in that movie, and she does the high kicks and moves herself and i think the other actors have stand ins, or not? Of course the dangerous things are not done by Smollet-Bell but lot of kneeling etc, and she does have a lot of screen time, it is almost about her in this movie, i almost god that feeling, proberbly because Harley is so more fictisous character, and of course see Rosie Perez, i am glad they did not take a younger actor as a detective, good choice she is experienced actor, loved her also in the movie, she did not have a lot of screentime, but i understand it is not about the live of the detective.
Loved the movie as well. After watching several interviews it looks like the whole cast did most of the stunts and fights themselves.
"Dis-re-pected" is how it should read.

Glad they had. Anyone saying its goong to be bad before seeing it is dumb. Not saying it won't be bad because I am betting its entertaining af. Maybe the story might be lacking who knows. I am betting its better than suicide squad though and I am all for being surprised. I will say that even though they are disregarding almost everything from the comics to make this movie, I hope fanboys that LOVED joker dont say they hate this because of that reason BECAUSE Joker did the same thing, I didn't like when that movie did it Ethier tbh. (It was a good movie tho)

Trying to keep an open mind, but I keep thinking it will be another Catwoman movie. They changed so much about so many of the characters.
I think the characters backstories are the same generallyexcept maybe Cassandra Cain's the charaters just lack their comic accurate costumes which they may have for the films climax
It’s the origin story, black canary said in the interview we will experience the begging of the black canary we know
Josh Roberts they do not have the comic accurate costumes in the climax. That one scene you see of them walking is that only scene. What they wear in the trailers is what they wear in the movie.
Do not care about the costumes. Just the characters and the story. I also factor in the whole multiverse thing in that these will not be exactly the comic book characters. I just believe you lose something vital if you stray too far from who they are in the comics.
it can, it can't be. DC has made some weird decitions, but with Margot producing and literally taking control of the movie, i feel this can be good. She understood her character so well that i feel it can be a good movie. YEah, you don't have the white and blond black canary who is oliver queen's love interest or cassandra is not related to batman and oracle is not even near but with how much margot says she fought for this movie, i feel even if is not comic occurated (seriously, why people wants that much?) it can be good and have a good time

Okay, well, I’m a black woman whose favorite DC hero is Black Canary and I love that she’s played by a black woman. On top of that, Jurnee seems more informed about her character than most actors who play superheroes. Oh, look. Different opinions. Funny how that works. There are plenty of comics and shows with a white Black Canary. You lost nothing.
Every time I hear “strong woman” in the description of a film I immediatly erase it from my “to see” list. Why? because I’m sure it’ll be another pseudo moraline aimed at preaching instead of at obtaining the best film.
