Super disappointed that 343 still hasn’t implemented file share after Halo 3. That feature was so goated. I remember at one point people shared actual porn on there. Then people started making inappropriate images out of different weapons 😭 Being able to just download other people’s gameplay and just having the most stupid screenshots. Halo 3 was so ahead of the game.
I know they can't trash Infinite too hard, but damn, an easy B? How? The Campaign was not solid, it was a boring Far Cry experience and a generally mediocre experience. I had fun for the first 10 hours then it progressively felt more and more like a job. And no effing online co-op? STILL!? The only Halo campaign that I didn't care about a solo legendary run, or even finish finding the skulls. The PVP was a better experience, but man, it fell off quick. No forge, a lack of maps and modes- mixed with massive dsync issues, cheaters and a terrible ranking system? That's a tough sell after a few weeks. There's a reason why player count numbers have PLUMMETED! It's a bad game. It should get better with time but 343 deserves to see it fail for charging full price (campaign) and still charging an outrageous amount for awful microtransactions. Don't tell me this game is a B. You can't sell me that snake oil.
Infinite has its fair share of problems, yes, but overall gameplay wise the game is good and fun af. If we’re counting everything about the game I could see it ranked as a C but no lower
Also, while I understand the lack of content is abysmally showing and while there are still some issues, I feel like some people are focusing too much on the negatives and not enough on the positives. Of course, I really like the gameplay of Infinite, and I don’t know, maybe I don’t experience desync as much. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, I’m just confused at all the hate and toxicity
@@mcredwolf925 I think a lot of the toxicity and hate stems from the game feeling like it was rushed and released way too soon. A beloved franchise shipping without any game modes that made it popular is a poor start. It felt like an early access game in a lot of ways. It is THE premier xbox game. The most important game in all of xbox's history and personally responsible for selling Millions of consoles- with some of the most epic releases in video game history... felt like an unfinished side project. That's demoralizing. Then people realize the core gameplay elements that they couldn't wait for weren't ready yet (and still aren't) among general issues with reliability. That's enough to frustrate any fan, but then the microtransactions kick in. Very basic shaders selling for money and a progression system entirely designed around frustrating players in to buying items instead of waiting. It felt predatory. There is some good stuff in Halo still, but I truly believe 343 is destroying it. I'm sure the people programming and designing the game aren't intending for it to be that way, and this is more of a reflection on the suits and investors pushing it this direction. It sucks. Halo used to be at the forefront of pushing the limits, trying new things, exploring crazy narratives and pushing FPS in to a beautiful experience. Now, it feels like they took a little from every successful game, slapped a Halo label on and hoped for the best.
I actually have H4 in my Top 3 with Halo 2 and Reach. Halo 3 is my gatekeeper to Top 3, on any given day it’s better than any of those 3. Reasons for it is I was 10 when H3 came out and was getting slaughtered in MP. H2 was my first, Reach was where I really got into MP, and H4 was where I could sometimes dominate a lobby.

We need more Halo podcasts
imo, best to worst: Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo CE, Halo Infinite, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 5, Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, Halo 4, Spartan Assault
ODST is heavily underrated. Definitely in the B bracket
APG not even talking he’s like why am I Here 😂😂
Lucid defending the GOAT games
The ODST dis is real. Best soundtrack and some of the best levels, characters of the series. Cmon now.
Ugh nah
Would be cool to see more content from the Halo crew.
I want to see more videos from these guys!
Halo is S tier imo. The ranks were awesome and meant something if you matched with someone super high ranked you knew you were fucked. The armor and ranking system was great. The story was super. Custom games was incredibly fun with friends and the things you could do was so much fun. Infected was so fun.
Formal at 4:45 literally changed is persona just like dashy does. Shows them guys hangout pretty often. 😂
Man, wish I was smart enough to get cool OG tags back at the beginning of halo 2 lol
14:39 for those who want to skip to what they think of Infinite :D
APG just happy to be there 😂😂
we need a halo player tier list as the cod team did. I think there would be so much history that would provoke some great stories.
Matt with the short and sweet intro lmao
These vids remind me of sitting In Xbox parties. What a time to be alive
ODST campaign is my baby
Spot on list other than halo 4. definitely better than D. i would bump it up one because yeah even though its multiplayer was pretty bad its campaign made up for it imo, kinda like ODST which is why i would put it in the same category
No mention of the bxr or quad shot in halo 2? That was the best halo by far
We need more content from the halo team. This was a great video
Halo 2 and 3 was my favorites. So much time put into those 2 games.
Halo Infinite Campaign alone puts it above Halo 5. Loved it
Thank you Lucid for sticking up for ODST 😂😂
ODST campaign up there, was like first episode of tv show
I know they can't trash Infinite too hard, but damn, an easy B?
I would bump Halo 4 up because the campaign was so good but I totally understand why people hated the multiplayer.
Worst competitive halo of all time
@@Jonesyyy12 but most people are casual, like they said. so from a casual standpoint, it was pretty solid
@@phanto6599 every other halo literally had a better casual experience….. not to mention it gets a major L for trying to be like cod.
@@Jonesyyy12 I didnt say it was better than all of the other games casually speaking but it does not deserve a D. And yeah it did try too much to be like cod but thats only talking about multiplayer and that's because it's what people asked for
