Hi Justin I played my type 74 G today and noticed they had changed it’s zoom to 1X-8X I was wondering if they actually meant this or if this is an error. I can’t snipe in it anymore since it’s very difficult for me to see what I’m trying to shoot, I hope it was just a mistake. Thank you and keep up the amazing work I enjoy watching your videos 👍

@@cristobalalvarez5491 lmao who uses atgms in T72/t80 and t90 ahahaha. M1a1 hc also doesn't have laser warning so you cannot turn your turret to protect youself with the aps (aps that has a orrible angle, not like the t90 that is protected even in a small portion in the sides of the tank)
This update also has a lot of bugs. The fuel consumption with the afterburner is a lot. Unless they really made it that way, then we should have access to external fuel tanks. Also the planes in the new test site crashes/dives after respawn.
EDIT: also the guns in the planes, at least in my phantom, when I fire them, they are just explosions. Also, the markings on the map does not show. Only the crew voice "attention to the map"
EDIT: this major update have more bugs than Cyberpunk
They had that same problem in the dev server. Was taking 30 minutes of fuel, and would run out before I even got half way across the map. Albeit with afterburner.
I believe the afterburner thing is intentional

friendly or own markers are gone from the ( mini ) map too. this is really annoying and changes a lot of the gameplay. the worst is that not everyone is affected by it.

I love the Fulda map, it's one of the best maps for 7.0 and above. Even playing on it with Sherman's and jumbo is so fun too
Fulda is by far the best map in the game. It's definitely not perfect, but in consideration of the horrific ground RB mappool this game has, it's an absolute joy in comparison. I'm still extremely mad those retards removed surroundings of volokolamsk because it was the only map that could hold up to Fulda.

Fulda gap to me isn't too great, it's ok, the part of the map between the b point and the castle is quite fun but the rest of the map isn't too good
@@peter5869 well that stops the players from rushing like idiots and killing you and then dieing immediately....that's so annoying. Because the map is so big, and it takes time to get into position, people don't rush like idiots, and the gameplay is more intense and immersive... at least that's how I think of it
I love fulda especially when using MBT, but damn i rarely got that map

I love how war thunder can market a patch based on leopard 2a6 or t90/80 but when it’s Abrams time it gets no hype from gaijin lol. happy that we got another toy to play with at top tier though 🇺🇸

I don't about you but I have no issues with the USA tanks and others. I use the m1a1 speed to my advantage usually take it out for br 11.0 because of m1a2 repair cost.
We are mostly hurt by people leaving early or only having 2 crews.

Gaijin increased the repair cost of M1A2, so people have to research and grind another tank that is essentially the same.

I think it’s a great addition, since now America has a backup for its top tank like thenGermans with the 2a5 and 2a6 and Russians with all of their MBTs
Except that the 2A5 as a backup to the 2A6 is better than the M1A2. The M1A2 has awful armor in comparison, speaking as someone that has them both.

America having the worse thermals is laughable almost as laughable as Russian getting all aspect missiles and smart bombs and variable swept wing planes before the US just like irl.....
@@AJ-happydad r60M's are not as good as aim9L's. I'm not looking forward to facing r60m's (I am top tier germany for air) but aim 9L's would clap. As for thermals, germany only has gen 1 for gunners and 2 for commander (exception for the tam2c)
R60m are pretty shit for what people make them out to be (basically the same as r60s) and they should give gen 2 commander thermals for type 90s

Gaijin really need to add the TUSK package for the abrams tanks that is compatible with it
TUSK is essentially K1/K5 for hull sides. Either dead weight or another pain thunder for stock players.

The thing I don’t like about Fulda is that it is a big map but the actual combat area is close quarters… besides a couple useless spots that everyone avoids anyways. And A and C are complete death pits so have fun with that.
That's the problem with warthunder in general. Pointless cap point that does no one good other than being a death trap.

It's by far the best map, it's very nice looking, offers plenty of options to play and flank/ engage, is fairly big which encourages realistic MBT gameplay that I want, but mostly don't get with small, urban clusterfuck-garbagemapst this game is filled with in high tier. I would instantly ban pretty much all maps, exept the ones I listed if I hat the chance to. i would probably enjoy WT three times as much then.

When they could have EASILY given us an A2 SEP with better thermals and improved hull... they gave us a copypasta downgrade from the A2. Meanwhile between BR changes, armament changes, etc... Russia got a pretty hefty buff to a fair few vehicles. Also nice to see the TOW 2B nerfed in the form of an "upgrade". Meanwhile the Dardo and other top down tow launchers are still killing shit with them a postal code away. Direct Hit was an apt name, just not how they figured I'm betting.
I’m just gonna say, you are either unlucky or in a light tank if a dardo is 1 shotting you with its tow-2Bs ( pre or post patch)
@@reggimentolagunari9078 The point was that theirs still hit laterally while the Bradley doesn't... go test it out. This isn't about a "skill" issue.
In my opinion, what Gaijin should have done is upgrade the regular M1A1, give it the APS, give it the M829A1 bring it to 10.7 and boom, you have a decent back for the M1A2. I'd prefer if we had a much needed upgraded variant of the M1A2 but it is what it is I guess.
The important thing to keep in mind is that it isn't what it isn't. The thing it isn't being; an M1A2SEP.
I think repair cost should be a fixed rate at 1.5x - 2x amount of lions u get per kill, it’d be alot more balanced then this random system
Instead of more Abrams, they should give them upgrade packages.
M1A1->M1A1HA standard
M1A1HC-> Gets an Rciws/crows system, as well as tusk era.
M1A2-> Gets the sepv3 variant
And than a final M1A2 which can be upgraded to the sep-v4
Whoa whoa, SEPv3 for M1A2 is too much, but I agree SEP should be an upgrade for M1A2. I think SEPv3 should be a new vehicle; if we added SEPv3 as a mod for M1A2, we would be running out of tanks too soon!
The reason i say the v3 is because the v2 is entirely electronic upgrades. And than the sep v3 could be a new vehicle (under the name of m1a2c) and could just be upgraded to the v4 variant, this would allow USA top tier to have 3 vehicles that are reliable in a line up. As well as making the M1A1 not as useless compared to the ipm1

Still can't find the answers as to why the Merkava no longer has its 600+mm pen round. No American or American tech tree vehicles have any dart rounds at 600mm of pen anymore.
They firs moved it up to 10.3 and after that, they decided to nerf hos rounds 🤡

One thing I've noticed already is that when I'm playing top usa against russia my team gets completely wiped
Pretty sure the only ATGMs the dazzlers like Shtora, EIREL (AMX30 BRENUS) and..AN/VLQ-8A confuse are the ones that are not resistant and use IR guidance.
Thing is: 80% of the missiles you face and have to be afraid of are laser guided, which are completely immune to this.

I don't think Kornets are affected by the dazzler. So far in my experience, only the Wire and radio-guided SACLOS missiles are affected. But then again the HC is still rare in top tier. Honestly America needs TUSK and BUSK, considering even the Brits and Russians have their own versions.

I still think gj should've increased the br to 11.3 at the same time since we have the vehicles for this since we have many 11.0 capable vehicles and jets especieally with the doppler radars now. This would give the chance for other vehicles getting new rounds, i.e L28A1, OFL120F2, DM53 for L44 and DM33 for 2A4, 3BM59 for 80BVM and 72B3( slightly better performance to 3BM60) which would be just a nice addition since we already have du apfsds, so why not give them to the russians as well, and these would also give the excuse to give the M1A1 the M829A1, move it to 10.7 and introduce the M829A2 for the Hc and M1A2. Its not like these rounds(all fore mentioned) would wreck everything since the rounds dont react to armor in a way as to what LOS penetration is. Also we'd finally have some parety with the L55 DM53
US has gotten one or two new top tier tanks the last four updates.
How? Been quite a while since the m1a2 was added and the stryker was a couple patches ago. No, im not a US main. I have been wanting minor nations to receive some love but this patch kinda boned them
@@jasoncrawford4929 The M1A2 has been in the game for two years, and the M1A1 nearing three years. And the 105 Stryker and M3A3 Bradley were added about one year ago.
The updates have been getting extremely underwhelming the last year and a half or so. Every new update I get the impression that every nation is getting mediocre / no attention at all while USSR is getting at least two new vehicles for EVERY branch besides helicopter.
I've begun to loose interest in the game the last year because there is very little / shitty content being added every patch if it doesn't pertain to USSR.
I believe this update is a small big update when in the next update is gonna be big with M1A2 sep v2 and the challenger black night and the mig 25
The Americans got the French treatment with this tank. A copypaste tank they already have with only a few changes that don't really matter. Also the dazzler on this tank seems useless, the only soft kill APS system that seems to be somewhat usefull is the AMX-30 Brenus because of the BR it is at.
America had the “dazzlers” way before the Russians started using them. The reason why they never used them was because you needed to trade off some armor for it, that’s why the T90M and MS just gave it up and used the space for more armor instead.
The worst thing about this update is the nerf to the M60AMBT's grenade launcher. Now it's useless against helis.

M735 should have a buff to 410mm of pen which is needed for the first abrams and M60A1 RISE and M60A3 TTS same with M829 should have 600mm of pen and 700mm of pen for M82A1 and for M833 should be 490mm of pen and for M774 with 440mm of pen. All of this is from the steel beast wiki which is historically accurate,because the game is used by real NATO countries for tank crew training.

Big maps are best for top tier, I hate playing on small maps like kerelia. Top tier should be playing on large maps and the big extended maps sim originally played on
I want to enjoy the update but I can't even play. 4 of the 4 games i've played today have crashed. The HC in the game is the Marine core version of the M1A1 they where the only people to use the Dazzler

Probably because the HC and A2 differ the most due to the actual electronics.

Sorry, but there isn't a chance in hell the Russians have any of the same level of ergonomics we have in our frontline tanks.
We have better thermals, better controls, and most importantly? Better training/logistics. That's what wins engagements which wins wars.

Im so upset. I was researching the m1a2 and now they add this extra tank that nobody cares about, costs 1m SL, 380k rp and it doesn’t have a commander view....
This tank should’ve been added literally over a year ago. The M1A2 sep should have been added with new toys this patch.
Commander view is useless. It has the important thing which is commander fire control. It also gets the dazzler which is more useful than a commander view. Not to mention its half a ton lighter and the RP costs for modules are half of those of the m1a2. This is a better tank than the m1a2 with an easier spading grind
@@Combatwombat-sn7ng It's not useless at all. Allows you for a much easier target aquisition without exposing your hull. The dazzler is meh, as the youtuber said. The weight makes no difference in this case.
@@MarianoGianni1 the commander sight is practically useless. It's not convenient to use it at all, the binos are much more efficient even without thermals. Besides with bmd spam atm the dazzler can actually help.
Just make sure you turn off the dazzler in night battle because it’s easy to spot by people at night

Justin, what are your graphic settings in-game? How do you have grass showing on your 3rd person view of the tank but when you scope in the grass disappears?
There is an option in the settings " hide grass when aiming " or something like that.

@@AJ-happydad was quite a bit soon for the f14. Seeing the recent additions to air Rb means the Tomcat is not far away now. They keep update the f4e to the new standard each patch instead of adding new ones. Other nations are catching up though (except for minor nations of course [and ironically germany])
