Hi, I just need your opinion: there is a sire 4 str, I really like it, I want to try a 5 string sire. You played it, you also play mtd 24 frets 6 strings. What do I get with the additional b string? Will this be the optimal choice in terms of the number of strings and frets 20/24 for everyday tasks? I'm an amateur, not a pro.

That's a great question. I love 4 string bass. It makes me to write tunes and more musical than 5 or 6. However, the genre I play for work is Gospel. Sometimes I need to play Low B-C-D notes. Other than that, I love 4string 20 or 21 fret basses. Great for practice, and think about legendary bass players! more than half are using 4 strings due to the control of your instrument, they all can play 5-6 strings, but prefer 4.

Thank you, yes you are right. 5,6 I think this is a choice that depends on the style. Jacko flew a 4-string fender and made history. If I may, I know that the mtd neck has a different neck unlike the others, we could not tell you much about it. “thanks. Sergey, I live on another continent from you.
