Beautiful just beautiful. Such an injustice of life that beautuful young lady wasn't singing live with her beautiful daddy. She was without a doubt in his own words, The best thing that ever happened to him, his biggest pride joy, and what I take comfort from is her own words, I didn't even realise my parents were divorced. No matter what he felt he clearly never wanted it to affect or hurt his little daughter. The lyrics speak for themselves, and no doubt hit home very hard when they became too close to home for her, in later years, just realising this is how her daddy must have really felt. Without a doubt Lisa has her own individuality both in deliverance wise and vocally, and that's exactly how her daddy would have wanted her to be, her own person, owning her own identity. A very talented lady in her own right, and to try to make it on her own in the music industry a testament to her inner strength, she never tried to fill her daddy's,s shoes, She chose very proudly to walk in her own. Although totally different people, they share one quality equally which for me is their soul, each delivering their lyrics with passion and conviction. the fusion of their vocals gives off spinetingling vibes. For a moment you have a vision of them standing side by side on that stage, and Elvis saying I,d like to introduce my beautiful daughter, Lisa. I've only ever had the privilege to be able to listen to this collaboration on RUclips, but to have been in the audience when this was first shown on the big screen, wow it would have shook me sideways. Through my tears im now wondering, did little Lisa ever hear or see her daddy crying, without him ever knowing,? I hope not it would crush him. Elvis should have been able to have spent so many more wonderful years with his darling daughter, to have seen her blossom into a young lady, been by her side when she married and to have been the proudest grandaddy to her beautiful children, sadly life never afforded him that. Lisa too should have faced all the wonderful ,milestones and joyful times in her life with her daddy by her side, life sadly didn't afford her that either. Hi Michelle, morning and wow!!!! I have always adored this duet especially the last minute or so where Lisa ramps it up notch..... Its absolutely breathtaking ❤️ it. Its not even 07:30 yet and you have got me all nostalgic already what are you doing to me???? 🤔. I have also attended every Elvis in Concert tour except one and I love them so much. I can't remember when I first saw this video but I do remember also being there at Wembley Arena in 99 for the very first show and I still have that program. You could reach out and feel the excitement it's something I will never forget. I remember the line walking up to the arena went all around the building I waited ages to get in. The press were there with cameras and they were filming the event. Nobody had ever seen anything like this before and I was completely floored by it all. It's over 20 years ago now but I recall it like it was yesterday. Thanks Michelle for such an awesome presentation and review of this..... It was amazing. When Pricilla said Lisa had a surprise for everyone, we loved seeing Elvis but when she appeared on screen with him, the crowd went crazy!! The feeling was almost (almost🙂) like seeing him in concert again. Not a dry eye in the house. Back in the late 70s on Chicagoland radio Don't cry Daddy always got heavy airplay ! Especially at night ! So I associate the song instantly with warm summer nights to this day ! As for Lisa Marie I'm just not a fan ! It's her attitude to me as a lifelong Elvis fan since the age of 8 in 1973 her attitude seems to be the opposite of our fathers ! Her father was always humble and thankful and gracious. She is not !

Hi Michelle, morning and wow!!!! I have always adored this duet especially the last minute or so where Lisa ramps it up notch..... Its absolutely breathtaking ❤️ it. Its not even 07:30 yet and you have got me all nostalgic already what are you doing to me???? 🤔. I have also attended every Elvis in Concert tour except one and I love them so much. I can't remember when I first saw this video but I do remember also being there at Wembley Arena in 99 for the very first show and I still have that program. You could reach out and feel the excitement it's something I will never forget. I remember the line walking up to the arena went all around the building I waited ages to get in. The press were there with cameras and they were filming the event. Nobody had ever seen anything like this before and I was completely floored by it all. It's over 20 years ago now but I recall it like it was yesterday. Thanks Michelle for such an awesome presentation and review of this..... You opened the floodgates this morning and the memories came gushing though..... Hope you have a lovely day 💐 Xx

I can't remember my exact seats but I was on the floor in the middle section around the same row number as you I was very close..... Simply amazing Michelle Xx

It was amazing. When Pricilla said Lisa had a surprise for everyone, we loved seeing Elvis but when she appeared on screen with him, the crowd went crazy!! The feeling was almost (almost🙂) like seeing him in concert again. Not a dry eye in the house. Back in the late 70s on Chicagoland radio Don't cry Daddy always got heavy airplay ! Especially at night ! So I associate the song instantly with warm summer nights to this day ! As for Lisa Marie I'm just not a fan ! It's her attitude to me as a lifelong Elvis fan since the age of 8 in 1973 her attitude seems to be the opposite of our fathers ! Her father was always humble and thankful and gracious. She is not !
