ONLY GUY WHO HAD TOTAL CONTROL OF THE STAGE LIKE IT WAS HIS LIVING ROOM SO COMFORTABLE THIS WASSSSS ELVIS ARONN PRESLEY IT WAS OFF STAGE LIFE THAT HE COULD NOT HANDLE
I was Elvis friend of 10 years. I can't tell you how much i love and miss him, there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me, his funeral broke me. i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and cared about my feelings and opinions. What it comes down to is we both needed a true friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. I will love and miss my friend forever. We spoke before his death no one knew more than Elvis that he screwed up he made no excuses for anything he did he owned all of it, we were both crying i told him we all screw up no one is perfect after we both composed ourselves we talked a few more minutes he was very tired he gave me a kiss on the cheek, i knowing that this would be the last time i saw him i gave him a little kiss and hug as well. that was the last time i saw him alive. this world is an ugly place even though my friend is gone i will always love and respect him always and defend him until my dying breath. awesome reaction love to you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn. #forevermyking. #forevermysexyjello
That moment with Sylvia Shemwell is just priceless. And then they share a laugh together before he launches back into action. I've seen it dozens of times and it still cracks me up every single time. There is a bit of context to this. If you watch any behind-the-scenes footage of them practicing and hanging out, they were all tight and they worked hard and he was kind of a perfectionist, but they also go around a lot and played a lot of practical jokes on each other and the one that he had going with that particular vocalist was that they would try to startle each other. With some of the other guys, they would try to trick Elvis into not paying attention and throw water on him and then he would do the same back, but it was a big game that they played. I just love how relaxed he is on stage to be able to do that and also that drummer his name is Ronnie Tutt and he's fantastic and what's happening there is Elvis is looking back over his shoulder to egg him on and then Ronnie Tutt in turn would egg Elvis on to go even harder and even faster. It was a great energy and chemistry. Everybody in that band was just top-notch. Elvis was so athletic even from his very first appearances. Takes a lot of course strength to do what he was doing earlier in his career and at this point not only is his endurance obviously incredible, but when he does those deep knee lunges and holds them, oh my God it just makes my tendons and hamstrings hurt, laugh.
I'm a 66yo lady, and i grew up listening to him. I'm thrilled to see him and his music still touching the young folks of today, yet another generation!
He put everything into a performance.... My Daddy finally took my Mama to see Elvis in Philly in 1974... My Mama was a child of the 50's and grew up on Elvis.. My Daddy didn't want to go but he knew what it would mean to Mama.... My Daddy came away from that concert an Elvis fan... he said I've never seen a person put so much heart and soul into theri craft as Elvis.
When I was 5 years old in 1955 I remember listening to Elvis on my older brothers transistor radio and Knew he would be BIG! even at that age of 5 and he would be The King of Rock and Roll !!
Oh yeah, and I forgot to say that some time later but obviously before Elvis died, Sylvia came down with cancer or leukemia or something and the treatments were so expensive and he ended up paying for all of them. That's how much he loved his band members. Also check out Bridge Over Troubled Water from this same show if you want to be blown away, and then another fun lively one like this one is Polk Salad Annie.
and what happens on RUclips stays forever for all the world to see,,, but hey ! another classic from the KING, and as always love your reations. shove that up yer nose LOL
Him and the drummer were very close friends and took martial arts lessons together & always had competitions against each other. That's why he did the dancing to the drumming.
He is encouraging the drummer to "bring it". He looks back at him several times wanting more from him. Elvis was in control of everything on stage when he performed.
Hi MrsPenPal! This is Elvis when he´s at his best, another great cover version "Texas - Suspicious Minds" (Live in Paris). Thanks for an amazing reactions video!
There's another concert version (from Hawaii??) where he sings "Honey, I've never lied to you .... too much" LOL! He had such a great sense of humor, as we see here.
Hi dear no I haven’t I just finished Bridge over water though watch this new one: ruclips.net/video/1NMWUJcQxjY/видео.html I will add Polk salad to the list, thanks Col
Please Do: Elvis Presley "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" Live 1970 Las Vegas Elvis Presley BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER 1970 Live Las Vegas (New Mix, GreatSound)
The drummer was the one and only Ronnir Tutt. Maybe the most sought-after drummer of time. Elvis had only the best musicians. James Burton was the lead guitar. He was practically music royalty. Check out his musically credits.
I don’t like Elvis, it’s not fare for a man to be that talented, tall and good looking 😂. I love his music but no one has ever made me jealous lol. 😂😂😂😂😂
Aye - E was a performer. Parker did E no good nor any other part of the world any good by signing him to contracts with Hollywood. Elvis belonged to the stage.
You had it in mono, not stereo. Sounded terrible. And you couldn't see it. I know you're gonna say you have to block it for copyright and all that, but how come almost everyone else can show it and play it so it sounds good? I just don't get it...
Nope. Same audio from original. Here is the original: ruclips.net/video/T1g5tVGZhfk/видео.html RUclips Copyright blocks it’s random scapegoat selections, one video is visible in one channel yet blocked in another. And yes, I have been fighting behind the scenes to keep these videos for Elvis up a lot of trials but anyone that can be seen is a win.

Still miss him. Wish I could have seen Elvis in person!

Ronnie Tutt never took karate lessons to my knowledge. I know I have never seen him in any photos of him anywhere with Elvis off stage
Yes he did, he even spoke about it during an interview. ROLL TIDE!@@bamafan62

Affirmative.
Great song choice MrsPenPal, to see Elvis interact with his fans please listen to the song Love Me Tender live.
😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
Malcolm Gladwell has a great piece on Elvis. Think it's in his Revisionist History podcast if you're interest 😊
Try his American Trilogy live😊
O Rei
Try Polk salad Annie
Its so weird. He is so great and handsome. But he is sadly alredy dead. So weird.
You're fine
I don’t like Elvis, it’s not fare for a man to be that talented, tall and good looking 😂. I love his music but no one has ever made me jealous lol.

Notice at 6:37 its a different jumpsuit?
yes, since it was filmed over 6 shows & maybe they didn't think anyone would notice
@@carolhayar3037 you did notice also 👍
Please understand what col Parker did to him
The ironic thing about Elvis Presley is that he was paranoid that his beautiful wife was cheating on him when in fact he cheated on her supposedly ?
Oh wow sometimes it’s like that 😅😭😂
oh he cheated on her.
Come on man, spell the bloke’s name right at least!
